Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. I have watched quite a bit of The Scottish Championship. I honestly think The Scottish Championship is a far better watch than our Premier League in Scotland as honestly it's a lot more competitive & unpredictable. Myb The Championship is Scotland is dose not have the same quality on the pitch as our Premier League clubs have but what it lacks in quality it makes up for in comparativenes. Ayr United are my league club & will I am always disappointed if we dont go up I think we have done remarkably well just to stay in The Championship for so long. Ayr United started off the season well but I always think it was going to be difficult to stay at the top with bigger clubs than us in the Championship such as Dundee & Partick Thistle also with the cash Queens Park haveing had lots of money pummed in to them. I am not hopeful of going up to The Premier League via The Playoffs just my gut feeling. As for my local side Hamilton Accies I think they will end up playing Falkirk in the Playoffs I think it will be two very tricky games but hopefully for the town's economy they can stay up. I am not originally from Hamilton so I dont have any real feelings at all towards The Accies I dont feel any passion for them so any intest in the club comes from what is economically good for the town rather than a love for the club. I think I.C.T. have had a very disappointing season league wise I would think they would of hoped to be competing for The Championship of The Championship. I think Morton have punched above there weight this season for the size of club they are. I would think Patrick Thistle & Queen Park will be disappointed in how there seasons planned out in the end I would think they would of both been looking to be Champions of The Championship. I think Arbroath should be content with there season. Raith Rovers I think should be finishing higher in the table than they have done I remember when they where last in The Scottish Premier League & with the size of club they are they should be doing a hell of a lot better to be honest I would say Raith are the great under achievers of The Championship if I was a Raith fan I would feel bitterly disappointed. Cove Rangers for me have it there glass ceiling for the size of club they are I think they will be as the Spanish would say a Submarine club up & down constantly between League 2 & The Championship. I would of liked to have seen Queens Park go up as Champions from a historical point of view but Congratulations to Dundee. I think over the course of the season Dundee do deserve to be Champions but honestly I think they will be heading back down to The Championship next season another Submarine club now a day's in my view. Keep Safe Sam.

What you have done for European football insights and U.K. football is a football fans delight. You’ve opened up awareness of clubs, especially in the lower leagues. Truly amazing.

Ever met anyone at Arbroath in one of your videos who wasn't smiling?! I'm English but one side of my family hails from Stranraer so that's where my Scottish loyalties lie, but Arbroath are comfortably my soft spot! Missed the opportunity to give thanks to your sterling work all season Sam, but that was due to Bus problems which stopped 100+ Accies fans attending despite having tickets. We tried to secure replacement buses but had to give up the ghost just after 6pm and we all ended up watching the game in The Bay Horse,Hamilton

First time viewer here, I will check out more for sure, but my initial impression is that you seem genuine, down to earth, no screaming or other "dramatic" antics. I appreciate that, AND you put emphasis on what's going on in the actual game (+ league) and not "just" the fans. Don't get me wrong; football without fans is nothing, and I appreciate you talking to some local lads, but a lot of channels seems to focus too much on the fans doing this and that on the stands, to the detriment on the actual match play. I hope that makes sense. When I go to matches I'm very focused on the actual game and often forget to sing along on chants, which makes me a bad contributor I guess, but that's how I am, game play comes first. Last point, imagine the bigger clubs giving a youtuber the time of the day to talk to the chairman and players! Good stuff :)

When the first Covid vaccine was developed and it was reported that it had to be stored in deep freeze (-80 or thereabouts is my recollection), there was a joke doing the rounds that they could just use the stands at Gayfield Park for bulk storage to save spending a fortune on giant freezers😂

I felt your pain Sam ! I went to 38 matches this season, all in Non-League, and my only 0-0 seen was on the last day ! Stupidly picked a middle of the table team v a team whose play-off place was cemented resting players - DOH ! Schoolboy error ... Excellent video combining elements of the ground, the atmosphere and the action, with one eye very much on the other scores like we all do at this time of year. Your player and chairman interviews were impressive too, you have come a long way young man , keep it going !

Former Candlestick Park in San Franscisco had the reputation of being the coldest ballpark in US especially in August.

Well done lads, good luck for next season.

Lol it is a standing joke with me. 3rd coldest place in the world is the Antarctic, 2nd is Waverley Station Edinburgh but the coldest is Gayfield. Went for a challenge cup match there and Arbroath beat the Pars 3-0 while the wind blew off the sea and it was sleeting a gale too. Never changed my mind in all the years since.

1,500 Arbroath STs, although I heard it was 1,300 earlier in the season. Whatever, that's a massive amount for a town of Arbroath's size. It was revealed this week that Accies have only 315 STs, from a town of over 50,000 people. Not just the Old firm effect, many Accies fans are staying away as they are sick of the way the club is being run. Colin McGowan is mainly to blame, the CEO and owner of the stadium company. Some investigative journalist needs to have a look at the shady goings on at this club including the involvement of criminals. That is factual. See Nero Vodka and Scotia Aid, both sponsors.

Back in about 2015 I went to watch us play a post season friendly at Colne. It was early May & I had drunk three cups of bovril by half time in a desperate attempt to keep warm. I couldn't believe anywhere could be so cold in May.

Such memories switching ends at ht, just beforehand u go get a hotdog and or a soup get to your new seat for the 2nd half and use your tissue to dry the seat 😂😮 sitting there freezing in December under the lights, no segregation even for dublin derbies, how times have changed... but that weather in may us horrendous 😅

As a Dundee fan cool we are back were we belong. Arbroath is only the coldest due to the wind chill factor and how close their stadium is to the North Sea. If the wind comes in from the East it is Baltic mate which is what you had to put up with. Glad Arbroath did not go down.

The difference in ARBROATHS form from last season is a SHOCK . but sometimes you see seasons like that. Leicester winning the premiership that was one off crazy results that happen.. just think ARBROATH nearly got in the SPL & look now .

You can buy Arbroath FC vodka from Arbikie distillery, half way to Montrose. Don’t think Arbroath is Scotlands coldest stadium. Try Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Wick and of course Aberdeen. Montrose is pretty cold.

all i do is film edit and travel you aint got a clue sam how lucky you are to do this for a living you woud not swap what i do for a living and the hours and sheer hard graft i have to do being up at 5 am motst morning not getting back home till 7 at night do you have any plans to go to dumfries and queen of the south my scottish club would love a look at thetown and walk round the ground was always my dream to go ther will sadly not happen now keep up the great blogs love to see all these great different grounds used to love getting to new grounds when i coud go football nothing better then ticking off new grounds when i was a mobile caretaker i would get the driver to go to the grounds and pop in there pick up a badge lol people say you have to watch a game for it to count but as long as i got to go inside that was job done for me what is your thoughts sam do you have to watch a game for it to count thanks again keep the great blogs going steve
