I Visited a Village In BANGLADESH I Mizoram - Bangladesh Border I Tlabung - Northeast Inida
Hello fam !!
This video is from Tlabung a border town in Mizoram. I visited Mizoram just before the unfortunate second wave. On my visit to Tlabung, i had an opportunity to visit a small village in Bangladesh and this video is all about that.
This is video is about a very very brief visit to Bangladesh and noway a depiction of travel to Bangladesh, I am sure Bangladesh has a lot to offer and I hope I visit there sometime soon.
This video is part of my Mizoram series which is produced, directed and edited by me (Swathi Hariharan), cinematography by Akshay and thanks to Surita for guiding us through Mizoram.
Tourism in Mizoram is highly underdeveloped and one can say it is unexplored. I am making this video with hope that after watching this some of you might want to visit Mizoram and experience the amazing hospitality and unique culture of Mizoram.

Love between India and Bangladesh and not love between Mizoram and Bangladesh. Mizoram is a state in India and not a separate country.

Mizo people are so friendly and honest, they come to Bangladesh and sell many vegetables and fruits and return back to India, those people are very industrious and committed to their hard work.. Love from Bangladesh.

You should visit BD. Places like Dhaka Chittagong Sylhet and Bd foods will amaze you.

Thanks, Swati. It is really a pleasure to see you in Mizoram which is the only state in India that I have not visited. I have seen your entire series and liked it very much. I am planning to visit Mizoram in September 2021, if the situation is normal. Since I am a senior citizen, I have been restricted by my family to move out of the city though I visited Zero in Arunachal Pradesh this March only. Thanks once again for responding. I long to see a series of videos from other northeastern states.

People who left East Bengal after partition from India will certainly become Nostalgic after watching this video. They often say they left East Bengal after partition leaving behind lots of lands they owned before partition. Although most of those migrants were Hindus and their homes were in southern parts of East Bengal. East Bengal after partition became East Pakistan and after liberation of Bangladesh in 1971 it came to be known as Bangladesh. Before independence in 1947 Pakistan, Bangladesh all belonged to India.

Bengal region was always independent on its own (Remember 1905 when Curzon divided Bengal). It wasn't part of India until Bri'sh colonised this whole subcontinent. Thankfully we are on our own but that came with an unforgettable amount of sacrifice.

There are important places and buildings there in Tlabung. We had a bicycle tour a few months back, but we were stopped at the border 😁
The hospitality and friendly people you find in Bangladesh I can tell you same you will not find anywhere in the world in so called big wealthy civilized countries.
