Nice video! I’m really glad Pineville and Billy Bob’s animatronics are gonna be around for a good while, there’s something about animatronics that’s just so special. I remember walking into Pineville for the first time and seeing the stage, and I was like WHAT because the stage was so freaking MASSIVE compared to the one I grew up with And I feel so bad for Cracksqually at the Albermarle location. Poor dude deserved more maintenance

Great video! At Pineville pasqually appears to have had his mask darkened to look closer to the original latex masks so cool and happy this stage is saved

The cheesy bread did look pretty tasty. That pineville Chuck E. Cheese was really nice. The location i always went to as a kid in Columbus IN shut down last year so it’s cool to see that other locations are thriving

Funny thing about the Columbus, IN location is that I was able to go in there and grab some left over Chuck E Cheese stuff and now I have it! Restroom signs, studio c stage, etc!

Great footage and video editing, I still have to visit Pineville at some point, their animatronics are well taken care of. I have not seen a proper 3-stage setup yet, it’s a lot shallower than I thought. Going to CEC an hour or two before it closes is great for shows. Parties are basically over, and you typically get the place to yourself. I like to go to Springfield IL CEC (which I have a video of on my channel) two hours before it closes. I get to see about 3 or 4 shows in that time.

The Pineville ,Charlotte location used to be a Showbiz Pizza. Used to go there on Saturdays in the mid 1980s. I have the old mascot costume from the Chuck e. CHEESE ON Albamarle.It's has the red derby and vest

From what I heard, the bots from the road stage was sent the SPT Distribution Center/ A place where CEC artifacts like animatronics, games, and other stuff are salvaged

I still remember the happy feeling when I went to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time, 1 stage, a bunch of games, animatronics are huge, sadly remodeled now, but it was the best feeling I felt about a pizzeria.

Billy Bob’s Wonderland is awesome. I think it’s the last place where you can really feel what animatronic pizzerias were like in their golden age. They also appreciate the fans which is so cool.

I agree. While I absolutely adore Chuck E Cheese, that “showroom” feel of an animatronic pizzeria is gone 😞

The Road Stage was looking rough, so it's no wonder it was going to be eliminated, but at least the 3-Stage will live on amidst the ongoing 2.0ification of CEC. Amazing that you've managed to fit two CECs and Billy Bob's in a day! I've only managed one CEC in LA, and it sadly wasn't even Northridge. But I'm determined to check it out next time I'm there all the way from the UK.

More so that we sadly don't have CEC in the UK, so since my LA trip, I'm now making it a tradition to go to CEC every time I'm in the States, especially one of the 5 that will still have the animatronics. If I ever go to CLT, I'll definitely check out Pineville, and maybe even trek it all the way to WV for Billy Bob's if I can.

You need permission, but usually you just have to ask someone and as long as they’re not too busy they can give you the tour!
