I have seen on the news recently about this. Kinda reminds me of a combination between McDonalds and Dunkin’ Donuts. I’m sure in the future that they will be around here in Florida.

Hey Chris - If you go to San Louis Obispo, California they do not allow Drive -Thru restaurants. People actually have to shut off their car, get out and walk to get their coffee or hamburger therefore saving the planet .

That's interesting and I actually like that. Anything that is a throwback to the old walk up or drive in days of early restaurants from the 50s and '60s I'm totally down with and if it helps the environment that's just a bonus!

I love McDonald’s and McCafé, so I think this would be a great place for me to eat at! Unfortunately I don’t think they will open any near me.

This is basically Mcafe in Australia but the difference is it’s inside of a real McDonald

Happy to see them compete with Starbucks because I don't like Starbucks and they need a big competitor like McDonald's. I noticed McDonald's stopped carry the Vanilla Cinnamon Roll and now I see the future of them offering those items at CosMc's in the future. Brilliant move by McDonald's

Chris, well done on this video! This is INCREDIBLY well done, and almost feels like a documentary about CosMc’s! The food and drinks also look delicious… I’m hoping to visit one myself soon. So awesome that you got the chance to check it out even though it was a bit of a wait 😂 it’s interesting that you mention that they stopped really promoting the characters in 2003, that’s about a year after I was born, yet I remember very vividly going to my local McDonalds and getting the character cookies with my happy meal, and even seeing the characters on the tables in the restaurant. Very interesting. Anyhow, Looking forward to seeing more soon man! Keep up the great work as usual! 🙏🏻

Thanks man. It was a lot of fun reviewing the place. I'll bet you experienced that as a kid because even though corporate retired them a lot of the franchise stores were very slow to do so. So throughout a lot of the 2000s they still had many play places and products that still featured the characters in use. At least that's my guess anyway 🙂

I predict that this is going to be one of those failed ventures that future generations will hear about in "Did you know that...?" videos on KZread. Congrats on getting to try it while it's still around though.

If you remember the big mouth billy bass, those singing fish, There’s a retirement for those fish at a restaurant called the flying fish, There’s a couple in Dallas Texas, 1 in Houston Texas, 2 in Arkansas (Little Rock & Bentonville) & the one in Memphis Tennessee, you should go there, there catfish & seafoods there is amazing

@@SetsStreetsEatsalright, there’s also a way how to get free basket of fried catfish, If you have those singing billy bass fish you don’t need, you can donate it to the flying fish And the restaurant will adopt it, and you’ll get a free basket of catfish, they’ll hang your billy bass on the wall permanently

Ya see, when your life is researching 1970s-90s McDonald’s mascots, it bugs me when people learn about a character and tell me about something I already know everything about. “Hey did you know grimace was originally a bad guy?” 😤. “Yeah how neat! 🤭” In the back of the head I’m thinking that people know I’m into nerdy stuff, and random fast food mascots, so whyyyy?
