How I love seeing a new Curiosity upload. Six hundred items is a BIG project, but Alex is up to the task. That horned chair has been around since the days of your old shop. Why don't you auction off that oriental-looking statue of a lovely black lady? She has been around for years without selling. My hearts twinges at the purple Ansonia clock like the one my mom left to me. I sold it at a charity fund-raiser for just $15. I hope you get at least 10 times that much for it. Mary's legacy continues to b;less you. Here's wishing you a great return on your items.

Make copies of the pottery recipes to have a digital set that you could offer for sale as a download.

Good idea. I bought what I thought was some newspapers from Back to the Future, Hill Valley Telegraph. It was cheap, 10 USD, but turned out to be A4 paper sheet copies... My wrong, but looks nice framed on my wall.

Wonderful choices. You are making decisions that will make your family more secure. Good idea to balance the debt ratio and create flow of goods through your shop while beefing up the international side of your business with such high quality items!

I have a feeling that even by removing 600 items, the place still is full...

Completely understand paying down debts...I paid my house off in 8 years, never carried debt, etc.....i did without things others were buying to insure security of wife and family but never did without, invested regularly, made huge difference to retire early.

The pinball machines will help you reach your goal. There are people isolated at home during this pandemic and the pinball machine for the family is just what help them keep active. Mary is still giving with her talent.

That green wall clock is very similar to one my parents had up on the dining room wall for many years. It was a cream colour. My family emigrated from England to Australia in 1959 and this was one of the pieces Mum & Dad brought with them.

Really curious how you log how much you paid for items, decide what items are worth, and pricing. Do you have everything on a spread sheet? Always interested in how people organize their business and you seem to be methodical in your approach. Been following you since the Potter's House, and truly enjoy your channel.

Notice items I've seen before in my travels as you pan the camera around youre fantastic store..I saw some vintage bicycle items in youre fantastic display cases ..I once was in a Classic bicycle club and I was restoring bikes and parts ...I'm getting back into this sort of stuff !! And having fun all over again... I hope this virus is gone soon so I can visit youre store ..I'm thinking on opening a store as well ( I had stores in my past ...and I still have the bug to run one ). Have a great two auctions !! You sure have quality and rare items ...I'm always amazed at youre videos and content ...great , great !! You and yourd family be healthy and safe and youre sister here in the states my freind . Who'd have thought? All this time later, the Potter's house is still producing treasures. I sincerely hope that her recipe book ends up in the hands of someone who will value it and actually use the recipes. Alex, do you ever feel a little "pang" of separation when you sell a bit more of Mary's art? Through your videos, I've come to love her, her artwork and value her legacy. Thank you for saving all of these things from the bulldozer.

If the Harley Davidson is a 1943 WLC, it has not been restored to original condition. WLC's were built for the Royal Canadian Army, and were green (olive drab), usually with a Maple Leaf & serial number on the tank. None the less, a very nice looking bike. In the '60's, these could be bought at Army Surplus stores for as little as $25.00. In 1972, a friend bought a new, x-army 1957 Triumph TRW flat head 500 for $400.00. 2 years later, I went to a crown assets auction at CFB Downsview where the same bikes (some still in the crate) were going for $1500.00. We thought they were bid up way beyond their worth.
