I really like how they did it, wise being the calm older brother (im sure many find it boring, and lack of style which really matches his personality) while belle being the energetic one that kinda balances thier dynamic duo setting.

OMG, that is why she looks so familiar!

I heard some people don't like the game's cutscene animations, and to that I say... huh? ZZZ genuinely has the most expressive and fluid animation I've seen in any game recently. The squash and stretch looks really good on these cartoony characters, because even if their proportions are relatively realistic, they still adhere to that inherent "anime" artsyle which exaggerates certain parts of the body to make them more expressive, like their eyes. It makes the game stand out amongst the sea of gacha games, all with similar art design and animation.

I don't play ZZZ but from watching this scene, the animations remind me a lot more of disney/pixar?? Like, they're quite bouncy and elastic or something. Whereas the ones in Genshin look like motion capture, very real and nice imho. ZZZ ones are less believable somehow (no hate, just comparing them objectively). That could be why some ppl don't like them though...

This game's cutscenes are on a whole other level comapred to ANY other video game. They look like they were pulled straight out of spider verse, that animation style is so good

genshin will always be my first hoyoverse game, hsr will always hold a special place in my heart for being the hoyoverse game i loved the most, but zzz is slowly becoming one of my new favourite games of all time just because of the amount of work hoyo put into creating the world, especially because it’s my favourite genre with the cyberpunk esque themes / design / feel

@@kyero8724 Memory required to download the game, how little combat there actually is for a game advertised as combat oriented, how easy the combat actually is, the TV maze in story missions that just become repetitive and unfun for me as I keep doing them, these are the main 3 I can think about that are holding the game back for me. Aside from that though, the quality of the game is great. If they just optimized the game a little better I think this game would be more fun and easier for most people to run on their devices.

​@@brawler5760 honkai star rail had barely any puzzles, because its mainly a combat rpg game Genshin has puzzles because its an open world game (the puzzles aint bad, its just the descriptions and tutorials for them are overcomplicated for such simple actions) honkai impact is basically ZZZ before ZZZ and it had no puzzles ZZZ is obviously gonna try something different, so they added puzzles. the puzzles are not even bad tho, theyre a good way to show the story without actually being in the hollow

Everyone yapping about wise have no personality and whatsoever being boring. Bruh, just imagine if his personality matches or rather kinda similar with belle, it would make their dynamics kinda cringe don't you think? because no one gonna balance the others. I don't know, it's just my opinion tho, I feel like their dynamic as a duo is just as perfect as it should be, no more or less.

No one appreciates the "straight man" archetype until it's gone. I think Wise makes for the perfect "guy in the chair", running the behind the scenes operations while the much more sociable Belle takes the field.

1:15 I can see more of why Unreal Dreamer loved this scene so much. ..And the rest of the video, actually.

It's a next level cutscenes compare to their other games, it's not that boring anymore than their standard story telling that you talk and I talk scenario that you have to bare with on other games man, idk about the story yet on how good/ bad they gonna be but let's see, hoyo have a good reputation when it comes to story so far

no wonder it took 57gb for little detailed world

Belle is a walking talking emoji section and I love it

This is why you should pay designers well.

I really like their dynamic,it reminds me of me and my sister just bothering the hell out of eachother,and its also a really good job for hoyo to make a sibling relationship this realistic.

I'm glad i chose Belle as the MC. As far as the story goes, Belle really suits as the center of interaction, while Wise plays excelently as charismatic matured nurturing oni-chan supporting character.

3Z animators weren't just cooking, they were making an entire banquet.

You can tell the storytelling is improving by a lot. The animation in the cutscenes, the comic strips, and the special actions make the game seem more expressive than the other Hoyoverse games I’ve played

The camera sequence REALLY giving the Boboiboy and Mehcamoto energy

Animation is seriously incredible in this game. And the amount of is crazy too! There's way more proper cutscenes than I was expecting.

It's like watching the "5 stages of grief" but in a very highly evolved form and more complex.

The only game that the brother and sister are together

I'm kind of on the fence with Hoyoverse and not as big into gachas but this game's animation is peak for Hoyoverse by far. I know it takes a crap ton of work and highly skilled artists, but man does it make a huge impact on the personality of the characters. There is so much love and care that goes into the animation and it is so lively. I love that both MC's talk and interact with one another and they behave like actual siblings with a range of personally and not just sticking to a static personality. This feels like a combination of east and western animation in a good way.

Abysmal levels of analytical video game scene breakdown.

I love ZZZ doing the OW style of Animation where you stretched certain areas to make the character more expressive and Dynamic. Which a lot of video games doesn’t does this much because it is time consuming. But if you done it correctly you have literally very good animation in general. Plus some goofy scenes when you paused. Wish more Anime industries uses this if they’re going full 3D CGI.

I agree. It makes a huge difference. I wish more stylized 3D games would use this method more as well. No Rest for the Wicked also has amazing animation work for their cutscenes. I think it uses some squash and stretch as well.

I'm glad my phone is still be able to run the game smoothly so I can watch those expressions clearly. The animations and visual are literally the main selling points of the game (aside from gacha and story)

going off topic but whether you pick wise or belle depends on preference. wise feels like the protective nonchalant and short tempered brother. Belle feels like a very expressive extroverted and playful teaser. when you pick wise, you get an energetic sister. when you pick belle you get a calm and easy to anger brother. fairy and wise's conversations are funny to watch as I assume he hasn't gotten past the "making sister unconscious" thing fairy did.

I never seen a sibling who has mood swings while in a conversation with them.

If these weren't cinematic, this can be seen as scenes from a series. Certainly the level of work is high.

The animation is this game is better than anything put out by Disney or Pixar is years. Also super fun, thoroughly enjoying it.
