I think some of us can speak from experience here, but I feel that most people do notice when their hair get this tangled. Sometimes when you go through a rough time in life, you just don't care. Of course being on the spot admitting it is so embarrassing you come up with other reasons or excuses, you don't want to share your depression with basically strangers. I hope this is not the case for her of course!

Agreed! Its impossible to notice especially when its form a huge bun behind your head. Specially when u laying down. And hope she is not suffering from any depression too... Because these quite a "hint"

@@ldhkshndr the way she handle herself clean. That is not lazyness but most people with depression cant notice this thing until other people tell them @ ask them about such thing. As she said, the hair is at the back of her hair and she dont notice it become worse within a week (if im wrong). As a normal peopl, do u think its possible??

@@rania4386 its not possible, its not bcz of her lazyness. U kan tell if someone lazy or under such trouble/depression. The way she answer him. She like, blank and giving such answer out of possiblity that u dont notice it become like that. If she lazy, the whole hair would entangle like that. As she said she wear hoodie, but dont u think its bothering u with such bump unless she couldnt have a time to give it a thought.

Just as a word of advice from someone who regularly combs out locs for my black clients.....for situations like this one, a metal rat-tail comb and some shea butter and coconut oil conditioner or cholesterol cream conditioner is hands down the best tool combination for the job. Take your time.

This is what I was thinking. That hair needed some lubrication to aide the detangling process and reduce breakage. My heart was kinda break with how rough they were in the detangling process. If they had at least used some conditioner it would've taken half the time.

At the end, he shown her 2 bottle of hair oil that he used to brush her hair out. So, i think using a rat tail comb would be better. But he did use oil to lubricate her hair.

Omg yeah. I was dying inside with how rough they were handling her hair. It was already damaged from perming, the pulling from the brush was not helping at. Might've even made the mats tighter.

존경단어 뜻은 알고 쓰는거 맞지?

저걸 풀어주는 기우쌤 멤버도 대단하고. 머리가 저상태가 되어도 모를수있는 저 분이 너무 신기하네요? 머리감을때 알지않나요??? 너무 신기해요. 진짜 마무리한거 보니 갓기우님이시네요. 사람이 달라졌어요.

On first note: She looks so pretty with that bob! That tangled hair was a blessing in disguise. She got a perm to make her hair curly but she didn’t know that curly hair was supposed to be detangled and I can completely understand that. I have Afro-Caribbean hair and even I feel like I shouldn’t detangle sometimes, specially when is wet and nice and bouncy but, that’s the moment when is tangled the most 😅

@@sugoish9461 yes detangling is basically self explanatory, it's untangling the hair so that it can be combed/brushed easily. However detangling hair is basically just combing or brushing it out, but everyone has a different method to detangle so it may not be combing and brushing for everyone.

@@sugoish9461 curly hair naturally becomes tangled no matter what you do because the shape of the hair strands, the curls wrap around each other as you do everyday things such as sleep and such. So detangling is just unravelling the tangled hair so the comb can go through smoothly and there's no knots. Detangling can take hours for curly hair people because of this, this is why a lot of people with curly hair go for protective styles such as braids so they don't have to detangle their hair for hours everyday. Curly hair is definitely hard work

@@fbiagent3998 Ohhh! I know when depression or sickness has hit me badly my long straight hair will mat and tangle very badly into one big, thick, seemingly-impossible-to-fix mass. When I'm feeling better, I'll go sit down and start gently working through the hair with my fingers (gently pulling open hair from the knots it has made without breaking it), as a brush wouldn't work at all, and about an hour after or so I'll usually be done. I'm guessing that would be detangling?

I’m a curly head and you have to detangle your hair with a brush or comb when you wash your hair. Especially if it’s long. If you don’t detangle properly, it will become a mess.

빗질을 매일 매일 하루에 몇번씩 하고 엉키지 않게 해야 하는데 저건 아에 관리를 하지 않은거지 .. 기우샘 진짜 대단 하십니다 두피쪽 잡고 헤어 에센스 듬북 바르거 벅벅 소리가 날지언정 빗는 방법 외엔 없음. 머리카락 빠지고 나는 정량의 머리 카락들이 저케 엉켜 있어서 더 그런것도 있음. 일단 엉킨 부위 만 꽉 잡고 벅벅 빗어야함 그냥 빗으면 ..진짜 개아픔 .. 저런 비슷한 경우 나도 있어음. 장염 걸리고 그와중에 코로나 까지 겹치고 6일을 암것도 못하고 누워 있어서 머리 다 엉켜서 ㅋㅋ 진짜 암튼 난 저렇게 뭉친거ㅜ풀음 ㅋㅋ 진짜. 한숨 쉬면서 ㅋㅋ 근데. 긴머리보다 짧은 머리 진짜 너무 잘어울림

When your hair is that tangle, you might have to consider cutting the knots. But cut vertically rather than horizontal. Or do a hot oil treatment, deep conditioner treatment and opt for a detangling brush and wide tooth comb and comb it out when it completely moisturizes and wet. At least for curly hair and it's best to comb in sections than trying to comb it all out at once.

As a Mom with curly hair kids. I have been in this predicament, the best way of handling matted hair is wetting it, conditioning the hair, and letting that soak. Dripping wet, with the thickest conditioner you can find. Then combing it with a comb a rat's tail slowly and gently you have to be very patient sometimes it takes hours. So give them a snack, put on a movie and take your time.

My hair is not that curly. It is around 2b and long. I had lung infection for a month and wasn't able brush my hair and take care of it. After a month it just matted. I tried oil, condinioner,hair mask but no avail. So i completely cut that matted part. Now my hair grew and normal again. I can't imagine your patience.

That wouldnt work for them. Conditioners, oils, and water are a curly girls best friend, but people with straight hair have to avoid combing their hair when its wet because it causes breakage.

Oh thank you for saying this. I was so confused why he didn't at least wet it and apply conditioner. Trying to detangle it dry is not good for the hair.

Positive? He literally ridiculed her hair. I know how it feels to have such damaged hai. It is a massive jolt to ur self esteem going out with such hair. Such people are already over conscious and asking them such stupid questions and passing such insensitive comments on their hair destroys their self esteem even more. Why he's being so judgemental? Why can't he handle it in more compassionate manner?

The concept of this channel is a competition over who's hair is worst and how they fix it, a lot of comedy and stuff, she's going willingly and she also said that she watched their videos, so she knows how it is. You're being oversensitive, this is not about you, also people in Korea make that kind of jokes, I'm not saying that is correct to joke about the appearance of someone but that's their problem.
