    This is also achievable with a instance of Patcher, using Frequency Splitter and then adding a fruity limiter with gate function for the highs, meds, and lows.

    In this case, When sound from an unwanted signal gets into a microphone. For instance, cymbals getting into your tom tom mics

    @@Phe_nom MBG lets you still keep the super high attack, say when the stick hits the toms, but you can shut the highs off quickly, before the cymbal bleed becomes an issue, while still letting the lows go on as long as you'd like them. There are some guitar pedals out now that do something sort of similar, but dealing with guitar noise.
