Every time I see that Balloon Bass I am floored. And to see a Crappie like that not too long after is just wild. Thanks for showing the lip damage on that first Crappie also, making me rethink using lip grips on fish. Ive got 2 packs of your Curly Clobber lures and I'll be trying them out here real soon dude. Also, you always give a chuckle with the way you "cuss" lol holy buckets is still my favorite.

You should way some of your fish dude,use a sling like we do in the UK,be interesting to know the weight of some of your catches, like that flat head, that was a beast, weighing pike by the jaw killed a lot of big fish,it damages their internal organs, everything is usually supported in the water then it all gets gravity pulling it down when hung by the jaw.... keep the vids coming 👍

You can weigh crappies without puncturing holes in them. people across the country do it. Hook under the gill plate or use a kitchen scale.

I never understand why over in the USA you weigh fish by the lip!! Just use a weigh sling, no damage to the fish and takes up no room at all ,, you can even retain fish in them to recover before a photo.,, great video again 👍

That wouldn't been some massive filets on that crappie. I would also have a replica of that bass, u just don't c 1 that fat every day! Love the channel and keep pumping out the content!

That crappie is insane...I'm in ohio...biggest I've ever caught are 15-16 inches but never that fat...sheesh! ...BTW I know you love KASTKING ..so do i...have you had a chance to play with the megajaws spinning reels yet? Think I want it...will pair great with my Estuary rod as far as looks go...never even heard of the rod til I saw u use it couple yrs ago...had to buy one... love it....I just got 2 7'6" Estuary Rods from auction yesterday for $90...also picked up all colors of the curly clobber ...never heard of them until I saw your first video using them ..they Def look promising. ..however i wish they came in a bigger size.....thanks again

What's the record size for crappie in texas?

You don’t have to be against weighing a fish, just has to be done properly. Crappie are just challenging due to the thinness of their mouths, needs to be done with a clip grip or under the gill plate!
