Many people might have the questions, how to fish a new lake, how to fish a new body of water, or how to breakdown a new lake. In this video, I try and display my top strategies that I use when faced with new water. Here's what I would do when fishing a lake I've never been to.

These are the best videos for people trying to be better anglers. The inside look at how a pro thinks and breakdown a lake is all you can ask for.
I appreciate your instructional approach, thank you. Even an old guy like me can learn a thing or two now and then. Thank you

Loving the series, thanks for putting it out there! Would love to see you break down Taneycomo. It’s quite the hidden gem with some absolute slobs in it! Hydrilla, rocks, bluffs, creeks and clear water. What more could an angler ask for?

Awesome stuff, great channel
Another great video sir. Can you tell us what lake your on?
Keep them coming, Edwin! Of course we like them....
You should try a spoon in deeper water because I live in sturgeon bay and their is a lot of fish their and they are in deeper water.
If you're ever around east Texas you need to try lake Pinkston located between Nacogdoches and Center Texas. I know you've been to lake Naconiche with MLF. Pinkston is just a little ways from there and back in the 80's reminds me of what Naconiche is today. The difference is the trees everywhere in the 80's are now stumps just under the surface. Pinkston held the state record for a short time with a 16 pounder until Fork started showing off. For me, it's a challenging lake most of the time and other times I hate when it's time to go. Your videos are awesome by the way!
@EdwinEversfishing

Bud Buttwipe thank you for watching! I fished Pinkston one time quit a few years ago. It was a real windy day, the event I was fishing at Toledo bend was cancer for the day so I went to Pinkston. It looked like a cool lake. Caught some but really didn’t figure it out. I’ll need to try it again sometime.
Enjoying your video's! Next time your in Georgia head south to Lake Blackshear and show us how it's done. Shallow water smaller lake on the Flint River. It's a challenging lake so I'd like to see how you would approach it.

Bassin Bubba thank you for the kind words. I’m having a lot of fun doing them, appreciate you watching and supporting me.
That water looks like my water around here right now but fishing dirty water has been most of life and so i find that colors that normally would fish in clean or clear water can actually catch more if not better fish than the normal dirty waters colors like black and blue instead i might throw a green pumpkin and you would be surprised at results. Sometimes it’s better in 8 inches or less it’s weird but it works, at lesst for me anyways. Have had 20+ fish days then other days it’s all black and blue. It really depends on the fish.
Please come to Lake Minnetonka in MN!!!!...Would love to see how professional anglers break that lake apart.
I’d like to see a little bit of your map work before you go to the lake and I’d also like to hear your thoughts on what you do when you get to the lake and your map work is a flop! FYI I really like the videos please keep them coming, thank you!

Edwin, you have an open invitation to head west to Colorado. The lakes are not quite what we have in Oklahoma but their fun to fish. SM are the main choice and LM in eastern Colorado. But I would love to see what you would do on these lakes. Having grown up in NE Oklahoma, I miss those lakes and go back quite often but it’s hard to beat the SM bite on a few of our lakes out west.

PLEASE Come and fish Lake Mohave!!! It's on the Colorado River, down stream of Lake Mead, upstream of Lake Havasu. You've fished Havasu before, in the Elite Series. Anyway, Mohave is one of my all time favorite lakes, now that I figured out how to fish it....and that way, was MY way. HAHA! I know, I know...."Man Cory, that sure is a far drive!" Do you have any idea how many West Coast bass anglers there are? Come on Ed! Come out for a weekend, would ya!? You'll have a blast, I promise! Take care for now
