another fantastic video Mr. Goodpliers, a lot of nice vehicles and I really enjoyed your commentary at the end. it brought a smile to my face 😄
Those rims should have went with Fire bird, those were for that vehicle. Just a money grab.

Great video. Usually restraint and delayed gratification is a good thing. I hope you are still looking for the right Model T to get the best one you can afford. I’m 68, still building, just finishing up a Jeep rat rod and more to come. My parents are gone so enjoy yours for as long as that lasts. All the best to you
Another good post Tim and I agree with you. When I go out picking, I am at the point where I am very selective at what I buy. I got two granddaughters and plenty of things to keep myself busy.
Excellent mr pliers cheers 🥂 😊
37:19 That's a solid car. That type of door without the metal frame around the glass area always rattles when the door is shut and the window is down. That door was a solid sound when closed.
I have some fond memories of Bunker Hill, where, in the mid Seventies, my band played a couple of gigs in an old grade school.
I had a Yamaha 850 triple just like that one. Beautiful on the highway balanced well but heavy enough to not blow around.
Your best video to date, well said and enjoy time with your family!
That electric pedal car was made in the early 1950s in New London Ct, that was dirt cheap. They made a Caterpillar dozer also that used the same sheet metal but had added features like a blade and tracks. They are very valuable! That 72 Chevy pickup was sweet, and the 2 big grain dump trucks went cheap for the condition.
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO I WILL KEEP A EYE OUT FOR YOUR VIDEOS
Really enjoy the building call out!

Why does there seem to be such a widespread rash of 70's and even 80's cars with red interiors??? I certainly don't remember seeing this many of them back in the day. In case you were wondering, I can't stand a red interior. I simply cannot imagine why that 77 C60 went for only $3600. I'm not going to say that I guaranteed would have had the winning bid, but I certainly wouldn't have let it go that inexpensively. If I wouldn't have been driving it back home, someone else would have had to dig a lot deeper into their wallet. As for your closing comments, I applaud your decision, and the reasons behind it. At 39 years of age, you have put yourself in a place that I, at 59 years of age, am not able to reach. My Father is 82 years old, and still kicking, although not as hard as he used to, and regretfully, I never had any children, but I surely would love to be able to one day, amass the collection of vehicles that you have. I'm looking forward to seeing what new direction your channel takes.

In ‘86 I bought a new Ford Ranger S model (stripped radio delete) from a couple a local fleet operator in Denver didn’t want. Identical with 2.3 five speed and Colonial White, one with red interior and the other blue. I went with blue. New truck with 12 miles for $6688 and I drove it 33 years
Very interesting 🧐 an enjoyable 😎.

That $10 trailer was a WW2 left over, the military ones had a fixed tailgate, they could float in water, the after ones had the drop gate, like that one, most were put on aftermarket running gear, the company (forgot who) made them for behind the jeeps, and kept a good thing going after the war for years, I have one bought in the late 70's and my ole neighbor still has it and uses it today. An other old neighbor had one to fit behind his '46 MJ. Now you know you passed up a great deal..........LOL (reposted from another reply)

I have a Model A Ford box trailer similar to that. It was given to me when friends were cleaning out their grandparents property. It’s backyard parts storage now with a truck hood to keep the weather out. Good to know I won’t have to buy a utility trailer if I need one

That red firebird also appears to have original miles.! Not too much of an F body fan, but it looks exceptional.!
Trailer behind that battery pedal tractor was made by eska in Dubuque. 50s fendered wagon wroughly 100$

That C60 sure looks to have original miles.! Just looks too nice.!
Obviously missed a huge amount of super cheap buy's like a $120 complete 850cc Yamaha with the kick start function and a great Pontiac car that will quadtripple in resale value once it's entirely refurbished, from top to bottom back to front, mechanical, chassis, Cosmetic, full interior replacement & So on $40K minimum will be the resale price, especially because it still retains its body by fisher cowl tag & probably a highly carboned Up original spark plug.

The location of the farm may look steep to people in Kansas. In Switzerland that is about the avarage steepness farms were built on. In certain regions of my district, they might call that a farm on nearly flat land.

I love those big stations. I am sad that it gets nearly impossible to find a spacious station in good running condition. They were all replaced by minivans. I would prefer this one to the Firebird as well.
I sure was disappointed not seeing you in the 3rd seat of the wagon eating a big slice of homemade peach pie! Ha
I love the old wagon
Both kick start Almost big bore bike's & you would need a huge leg to kick these things over & hope to god you don't get the revolution stroke kickback that will break the weaker ankle or entire shin or knee bone. But tremendous shape for a almost new looking appearance when done by a Non amateur. The 900 is a rocket so is the heavier 850cc but stupidly scary when they start to tankslap.
One of the last things my Dad told me was, "I wish I could have worked on one more car with you".

@mr.goodpliers6988

All of the running vehicles sold for a fraction of what it would cost to get ratty ones running and presentable. The guy who bought the Dodge will use it for parts. It might take $10k to turn it into a $2k truck

They started where the online bidders left off or when no cyber bids the auctioneer will throw numbers out until someone bites. Do try and keep up.
I believe a 4.9 is a 305 GM motor .
You should have bought this tiny trailer that sold for 10$ at least. Or the small aluminium boat. This is something you can use or share with your family. I am 64 and I must really slow down on my cars and collection. But I still cannot let go of my stuff. It is hard to do that. Only if someone offers what my cars are really worth, I might consider it though. But face the facts, most guys who like classic vehicles are lowballers, tire kickers, big mouthed jerks or people without any money.

Happy Birthday Mr. Goodpliers. Your sign must be Taurus. There are 3 signs of the zodiac which are also cars, Taurus, Aries and Scorpio.
The exporters have totally screwed us for buying toyotas up here in eastern canada. Even rusted up junk is selling for big money. Even non runners they ship them to the middle east. My 2007 camry could sell for 5-6000 rust free with 200000kms. Can't even find an old four runner.

A gamble for sure. We can take them to the highway patrol and do a VIN inspection, then that's taken to the tag office and a replacement title is issued as long as it comes back with no liens and was not reported stolen
For once there is an auction with lots of cars that are not ridden to death or neglected and abandonned.
