I've almost died lots of times different reasons Beginning as a baby, I could've been a case of SIDS but my granny raised me and would lay awake to shake me when I'd stop breathing, at age 19 I was a passenger in a wreck and on life support nearly a month, when our last baby was born I almost bled to death, I became paralyzed a couple yes later near death due to potassium bottomed out, I've been septic many times and in ICU, then in Feb 2019 I awoke in a hospital I didn't recognize and both my legs were gone above the knee to save my life, a few weeks later I began bleeding and had to have a colonostomy then a week later that broke loose and I laid in blood in the hospital bed because the material the beds are made of doesn't absorb liquid, the nurse drew a line on the side of my stump to monitor my blood loss, it continued to get deeper, I saw the fear and tears in my moms eyes as I kept asking am I gonna die but nobody would comfort me and tell me its going to be OK, the Dr came to my room and I saw him in the doorway he shook his head and left, I was bleeding out and they didn't even try to stop it or replace the blood! Finally a team of drs in training came in and applied pressure and got the bleeding under control, it was another hour or so before they gave me the blood transfusion! I've felt my life slipping away only twice, the other incidents I don't remember anything about, I remember almost bleeding out when our last child was born and I remember almost bleeding out after the ostomy. Its true what u see in the movies, u do get very cold. Things start going dark, sounds become quieter, and u know ur about to die, what is the last thing on your mind at a moment like this? I've heard people say their life flashes before their eyes, but with me I was scared of dying, the unknown, and leaving my children without a mother, that's what was on my mind and I was praying please god save me let me live to raise my babies and if u take my life please allow me into heaven. I love this song, I wish I could get back to the lord that's the most peaceful I've ever been was when I was in church. Now I can't go because I lost booth legs above the knee, I can't drive, I can't walk so I just drift further and further away

I really liked to listen to this song when my grandpa would take me for a drive in the country. He’d be 4 six packs deep driving 80 miles an hour down them ole West Virginia roads. One time he ran completely over our neighbors old coon dog, I tried to warn grandpa about the dog in the road but he just stood on the gas pedal and screamed “I’ve neeeever been this hooome sick before!”
