I worked around Arad in the early 1980's as a field geologist. Great town then, spectacular desert terrain. I was a road cyclist then, though. Thanks for the video and the memories.
It's always a pleasure taking good riders on the trails we ourselves love to ride - and this one is definetly one of the top on our list! It was a blast!

נראה מדהים! יש אפשרות לרשום מה היה המסלול שלכם? אולי לינק, קישור? תודה.
This trail looks so awsome, it's so fun to see a KZreadr I like riding in Israel :D I really hope you enjoyed my country!
So much fun to ride with you Brian! This is one of my all time favorite rides so happy we got to go on the adventure together and even practice our yiddish a bit! We were shlemiels for not walking on the soft salt area to get into the Dead Sea :)

Been following you for years. Love learning about all the places you travel too. Makes us seem a little more connected to each other and we're not all that different! Thanks for bringing us along!
So much history there, truly ancient stuff. Should be some really cool data on Strava/TrailForks too!
Some serious exposure on that trail, & great scenery. Excellent edit. Used to work as a dive guide in Jordan in the late 90s, brought back some good memories.
Sea level ( altitude zero ) is at the nice viewpoint at 17:50 :)
such a pleasure watching you enjoy our back yard trails bro!❤ hope theres more :)) cheers brian! 🙏🏼
Love all the places you go Brian ! Gives me inspiration on a slightly smaller scale though 😀👍🏼
I love this series! More international riding!
So cool!! Great episode!!! Invigorating!
Looks a lot like Mars. Riding that spin was intense. It's Beautiful out there dude 👍

Super cool. It would be sweet if there was a way to show how fast your going like maybe something in the upper corners. It looks like your flying

It's Palestine not Israel. The jews can try as hard as they want but they won't succeed.
Hey guys it's me your friend sabin ❤thank you so much for your love ❤🎉
Incredible views.
Oy! That was Ruff!.. Thanks Bryan!
That desert is so different from the deserts in the US. US deserts have lots of plant life and lots of wildlife, the Negev desert looks like it's almost devoid of any life.

Don't worry. We have lots of different desert biomes in Israel, but this area - the Dead Sea - is like the moon.
@mjohn5921

Actually the deserts in israel are quite rich with wildlife. But sadly, as man builds more, wildlife fades. Until around 15 years ago israel still had leopards... Imagine what would happen by the end of the century when there will be 40 million israelis and palestinians living on a land the size of new jersey
You have sooo epik awesome videos 💪👍
Nice video 👍
Hi Brian, epic ride man, question thou what brand of stem are you using, look nice love the color
insane view and hellish tek
That trail is mental
Tal didn't take you on bike trails but on camel trails ;) I've been there but don't remember so much danger :)
Incredible!

Hey Brian, the video was amazing. I’m a medical device rep in the foot and ankle space. Please take care of your bunions. If you haven’t, you should consult a specialist. There are some non invasive things you can do that might correct the toe angles. Anyway, just looking out for you. Stay well.
i wish i knew you were in arad i live there and love your videos
Good riding
A ride to trust the side knobs and avoid pedal strikes
Ride me to the Moon😂 Wow, looks epic!
Welcome to Israel 🇮🇱 excellent video with tal rozow the master 👏. this route is tough but also mentally and difficult especially with the knives and the section on the cliff heights , you are fearless . Great ride 🚴🏻🤘
Liking the Friday/Saturday weekend, not so much the car tax. 😊

Funny he mentioned teslas.. In fact here in israel, EV's, as long as they are not considered luxury, has only 25% percent tax. Model 3's here cost 52k$... it's when you opt for buying a model S that you get to feel the burden. A baseline model S would cost 200k$. A 250k$ ferrari would cost you here closer to 600k$.
When you were in Oregon you were in my part of the world. This looks nothing like Waldo Lake. 😮

Hahaha, most definitely!
That looks amazing! How do you navigate without too many landmarks like trees or boulders lol
@Ridebox_MTB
Жыл бұрын
The benfit of navigation in the desert is that you can really see the topography and it matches the map - trees obstruct the view and make it more difficult actually. Also we took Brian to trails we already know so not much navigation was involved :)

@@Ridebox_MTB Nice! That all makes sense. Well in that case, it's always fun when people know the trail and you can follow each other. Thanks for sharing this vid, it's very unique. Happy Riding to you!
Hi, are you using gopro? And what kinda of microphone do you use? Because im thinking of doing same videos like yours 😊. Thanks
Great to have you here, Go Israel. Come also to the north - better tracks
Awesome!
I am just surprised that there is little to no vegetation.
Really cool
What kind of bike do you need for terrain like that?
Nice POV, are you using chest mount?
what gimball do you use while riding?
Right as you mentioned gloves I was thinking 'no way without gloves' (and a long sleeve with collar for my bacon Irish skin UA sell a very good hot weather long sleeve). To me it looks like cali after a bit of global warming.

Thats the driest part of israel. The northern half is quite fertile and rainy with average rainfall on par with what london gets. Further north in the golan height get's even more rain... around 45-50 inches
Were you running dbl down and cushcore? 😅
go to beeri its be eri its near gaza it has a 25 km flowy type of trail
And I thought my Vegas desert had loose rocks....
I’ve done this trail on foot
Any way you can post the tour company name? I travel to the area (Levant) often and been dying to bring my bike.

There is no trail. Just free riding!

Come to mishmar hanek
Finally, you've reached the Middle East! Hope you can extend the trip to Dubai, UAE!
Welcome to Israel Brian!
Can you show us your bike
Let’s ride together
Brian, what’s going on with Ibis ❓They seem to want to loose their customers and customer loyalty.
Go to the Philippines bro❤
Christos Anestis...Happy Easter to all orthodox Christians, G_D shall protect ya !!!
"schlepp" is German: "schleppen" meaning "to carry uncomfortably" But then a lot of Yiddish has roots in German

Cool let's bike in the Philippines 🇵🇭
MEGA!!!
Hey somebody stole my bike from my house when I out getting my CDL school. But what don't make sense they didn't take Twenty eight hundred dollars Is bike with a 1× No they took this one sixteen hundred dollar bike with 3× but It wouldn't be me without putting some quality stuff on that Fox34 Fox floating the on rear. We'll say that this is messed up and don't leave your bike around too Long for anyone to steal. The bike they didn't Steal Is the Canondale no they stole my Kona precept. One twenty slightly modified Two a on forty. And torch wheel. Still Miss this bike. You're safe and always good.
Looks like your riding on Mars.... Did you see Matt Damon ;-)~
Hoy do you do to Connect, with this people?
Can someone tell me what the flock of sheep, seen near the beginning, would eat out there?

That's pretty normal for the middle east in general, most of the western and southern Arabian peninsula is also covered in bare mountains like that

That's the southern half of israel. The northern part is quite green. It rains there more than it rains in london.
Is it just me or does he have very high pressure in his fork? Even on big drops it doesn’t look like he even compresses halfway on the travel 😅
Remember that time we traveled to the other side of the planet for loose over hard…
