Amen. It's sad. I seek these old songs out on youtube and have praise and worship at home. The church won't ever return to its former glory until they preach the unadulterated word. Unfortunately, they laid Jesus down a long time ago. They don't want to do what the bible says. They want to tip toe around the gospel instead of saying just what the Lord says. Sorry for the rant.

My dad and I used to sing this song together often. He passed away 3 months ago. I sang this song to him 2 days before they took him off of the ventilator and we watched him take his final breath. He couldn’t speak or open his eyes but he cried while I sang it to him. I find myself singing this song more often, as it’s one of the many memories I have with him. I want to see Jesus one day and I want to see my dad again. I decided to make Jesus my choice. 🥺🥺🥺🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
