The one good thing about the Ranger is that there are A LOT of aftermarket parts for this. From bumpers to grills and lights. There's so much potential for this

This Ranger reminds me of the one Richard Hammond drove on The Grand Tour when the trio tested it against the Mercedes X Class and VW Amarok. Hammond actually got the Ranger briefly airborne when he drove up a steep hill in the countryside. That was cool!!

Hell yeah man we have a 3.2 as well! Awesome car. It’s a overland build so it has a tent and a “trunk” upgrade.

Love a new ranger! I have an old 2005 thunder and its a unit! The 2.2's and 3.2's can sometimes have issues with oil pumps failing though, ford fitted a vaned one as standard but people upgrade them for stronger geared ones, might be worth upgrading it for peace of mind in the future, can't wait to see more videos of it though!

Man now you need 4” lift 33” tyres, bullbar, spotlights, roof rack and that thing would look phat

Can't wait to see you tow the GTR with this!!

Nice purchase! We were planning to get the 3.2L as well in 2018 but it was no longer available and they only had the 2.0L Bi-turbo engine. So we got a 3.0L Isuzu D-max with a 6-speed manual instead.

I love Rangers. Ford deprived us of then for many years. We also never get the diesel engines in anything here. They are incredible durable little trucks. My last was a 4.0 liter v6 that I couldn't kill. It had 250 k plus miles when I sold it. I've needed much larger trucks for towing the last 15 years or so and have owned several Superduty Fords. The performance potential of a properly tuned diesel is amazing. I had a 6.4 that would run 12 seconds quarter miles on the hot tune and drag a 20,000 lb trailer up any hill on 37 inch tires without straining. I'd never survive in Englandland without my big pickups.

Got yourself a “Danger Ranger” awesome. My first ever vehicle was an 89 manual transmission Ranger lol. I swear they put crap lights on all trucks because they know we’re gonna take em off and change em immediately lol.

You should look into Carlex design, they do some really mint kits and we fit them here in West Yorkshire

Just got one myself, Before you start having starting issues and rough idles, check the wiring loom on the front of the engine, it rubs on the top of the timing cover. You'll know it when you see it. They nearly all do it.

Cute truck! ... Jokes aside I prefer the smaller/midsize trucks. Ive driven the F 150 platinum and Dodge diesel trucks and they are honestly too much at some point. A ranger or Tacoma or would be nice own. why not a Colorado while we talk about midsize trucks.

People are like, "A Ranger!? Wow, that's really cool!" Whilst I'm just sitting here, not blinking an eye, as I see them every single day. They are EVERYWHERE in New Zealand lol.

Ford should make a 5 cylinder petrol engine again. The Ford focus st and rs with the five cylinder engines are absolute legends. I know those were technically volvos engine but still.

3:00 it is nice, it's a Wildtrak. They get a much better interior than the base model Ranger's.

Yeah i also wasnt gonna buy a diesel becouse of the sound... But when i drove the T4 it sold me on the noise that 2.5tdi 5 cyl sounds really good when you are accelarating... It just sounds like a brute. Still not as good as petrol engines but its damn near close in terms of sound.

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab SLT 4x4 with a 5.9L V8 magnum. Love it. I changed my grill too. Now I have to use a screw driver to unlatch the hood. I plan to put new headlights and tail lights on it. Nice work!

I am happy for you the raptor would have been nice to see but just like you always say it would not make sense to buy one in the UK I see raptors and dodge TRX everywhere here in Utah (USA)

So, you have the Lexus LC500, R34 skyline and those are like the main\dream cars here to stay, then you have the Evo X for some reason, the E36 BMW with drift bumpers...that you never went to any drifting events\ trackday\ hoon it around, then you have an Astra just to make memes and buy stick on items, the Mini for Meadow and now a truck as a work vehicule, for towing god knows what, the new project car from the US maybe. I mean why do you need so many, like Jay Leno has 200 cars because he is a collector but why do you need the evo, E36, Astra, and the new American project car, you barely drive them, especially when Ford gives you a rental so you don't have to drive anywhere in your own car....idk, next thing you know we see a convertible because you didn't have one of those and you need that for the 30 days of nice weather England gets, and then a Peugeot because you don't have a French car......

My neighbor growing up had a mid90s Ranger. Think when he gave it to his daughter to drive to college it had over 180k miles...whenshe was done with it it had over 260k. Was a sad day when they stopped getting produced in the US. I had no clue they were getting made again until Mighty Car Mods had a 2016 they tested in 2016? Then I found out the rest of the world still made them, America just hated small trucks.
