Meh, Delver gets far too many powerful toys to be complaining about virtually anything a control player is doing on turn 9.

I think on r1 g1 opp took teferi cause they had emrakul in hand as pay off and both cards deal with it, but teferi also shuts down most interaction for them as well and can potentially repeat the effect

I don't know what list they're exactly on but most builds can easily play around Leyline Binding with a Cunning Wish (there are several lines, we can either win at instant speed with release the ants or get Sublime Epiphany/another Stifle effect). I'd only take it over Teferi if I were planning to resolve a SnT that turn, in general Emrakul as a SnT payoff is a desperation play against pretty much anything besides Delver.

I’d argue it’s very unlikely the UB deck match 1 would play beseech the mirror since boseiju who shelters all would only make the beseech uncounterable but then you just counter the spell it finds. So I think you were on the right track with show and tell and got a little excited with your mind wandering to cool beseech technology

This beanstalk bs is hilarious when Bosh is calling shots and I love it 😂

Would love to see this trimmed down to 60 since nobody wants to play 80 cards in paper at EW (at least I don’t).

If you wanted to trim red or black which is weaker? I know Loreyan Revealed fixes a good amount but Im a cut 1 color if you can player.

Side boarding in the control Beanstalk shell is so awkward. You typically side out either FoW or Binding depending on whether you are against fair or unfair in favor of cheaper interaction, which makes Beanstalk much worse. I guess you then "need Yorion" to then make the Beanstalk worth it in your deck

It is, in fact, just there for GSZ. It makes turn 1 Zenith into a functional mana dork.

since you play Atraza already, shouldn't you just play 1-2 natural orders with it?

There's 9 creatures (counting the 4 GSZ) that you're happy to NO away, plus Grist tokens. So, no, that's just a different deck

Is there a reason you’re not playing any Scalding Tarns? You were complaining about not being able to fetch Badlands, and the only fetchland that can find it is Polluted Delta. You have 8 fetches that can find Bayou, 8 that can find Savannah, but only 4 that can find Badlands or Taiga. Seems a bit risky in an 80 card deck. Or replace those duals with the equivalent blue triomes, but maybe I play too much singleton where triomes are the norm.

I just got the deck from a Patron and played their list. Good chance the fetches can be balanced better, or maybe they did a ton of work and determined the bant core is worth having solid over the splash colors. Not sure, but if you try the deck you're welcome to change cards around.

Beans are great but too many time lists are leaning too hard into triggering beans than playing actual magic. That’s been my biggest criticism of the modern cascade lists. There’s too many bad cards and too much fluff that without beans the decks just fold. It’s been fun trying to solve those problems, but tempo midrange is definitely the best home I’ve found for beans, cascade or otherwise.

I mean, yea the modern Cascade beans deck falls apart without beans. But it effectively plays 12 copies... It rarely doesn't have beans lol
