"I Usually Get a £10 Haircut" (SCISSOR HAIRCUT After HAIR TRANSPLANT) *David Beckham Inspired*
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Marcus came to the Regal Gentleman Studio, not knowing 100% what he wanted, but wanted something that suited him after having a hair transplant. Dan worked with Marcus to give him a scissor cut short back and sides haircut based on David Beckham's haircut.

Amazing individual
I like how he really puts thought into the cut based on face shape and hair texture etc. the Beardbrand guys have this default setting of zero fades with literally the same hipster cut pretty much every time. It’s not what every guy needs. Dan is way more in touch with the guy instead of the trends.

You watch them too?! Atleast they do less skin fades now which is really good

Yeah he really takes the time to think about it. A lot of barbers, you’ll just walk in and tell them what you want and regardless of face shape, thickness or texture they’ll do it, and some of them know it won’t work but they do it anyways and then when it’s done it doesn’t work for you and looks like shit and you’re pissed. He actually thinks about this and gives them the honest truth, which they might be annoyed or bummed for a minute if they have something particular in mind, but when he’s done, they know he was right. Beard brand has cut down on the skin fades? Thank god, I haven’t watched them in a while. Only certain people can pull that off lol most of the time it looks stupid. Not a big fan of skin fades.

Hey Marcus, can you tell me more about your transplant experience? Did you get it done in Turkey? FUE or FUT? Was it just on your hairline or both hairline and different areas on the top of your head?

Really appreciate you coming in, Marcus! Thanks for sharing your experience!

@@KalvinPatel Hey Kalvin, tried replying once but doesn't look like it worked! Honestly my experience of having it done was one of the best things I chose to do in my life. I was struggling with my mental health with the thought of losing my hair at 23. I was probably around stage 3 (vertex) but only had grafts on the front of the hairline, not on the crown. I had the transplant done in Liverpool, UK and I had FUE. After the transplant I ran a medical treatment cycle of regain foam (minoxidil), 1mg finasteride and 1 tablet of biotin per day. My crown grew back within 5 months as did a lot of the other areas of my hair that were thinning. I stopped using regain about 6 months ago but still take finasteride and biotin daily. Reason I stopped regain was purely because the weak hair had grown back so by taking the finasteride it blocks/prevents the DHT killing your hair. I have a private instagram in which I documented my journey so feel free to follow and message me on there and I can answer any more questions you might have (@mrv2.0_)
I’m absolutely fascinated by the way Dan can cut hair. What great styling. You’re naturally gifted.

He's incredible on the right day but I'd be lying if I said I haven't seen plenty of videos where I felt like he made the guy look worse than they looked before he cut their hair. Whether it's the guys asking for cuts that don't suit them or him just having an off day in his technique I don't know.
And I thought that Dan had lost weight. Turns out he has a strategic haircut and beard 😂

The right haircut and style, that consultation is pure gold.
I love the amount of analyzing and consultation Dan does!
such a genuine guy … a master at work
Love these consultations, very inspiring to me as a hair stylist ❤
I am about half way through the video and the back looks really good. Like the way the top part lays down and not to short and sticking up. This client has a great nose. Very noble. Like the way you look at the face shape and the cuts that will go with and not. You have to play the game with the uniform you are issued. If i ever was in the U.K. i would love to get a haircut by you Mr. Dan. These videos are addictive. Thanks
I just hope that there'd be more barbers like you man. I'd be happy to pay more and even tip if so.
Dan nailed this hair cut. Not unlike his own stellar hair style. Did I say his scissor skill is second to none?
The scissor action is relaxing to watch.Great technique and excellent cut.
You can't help but rate this guy, class!
Superb haircut. You definitely blessed this gentleman
Excellent cut as always. You are truly a master with the scissors. Definitely not as harsh looking as with clippers. And I really like how you are careful around the crown. Alot of barbers go too short and then it sticks up. Well done. Much love.

Fabulous advice here, great cut.
One of the top best haircuts I've seen 👏 👌 🙌
Excellent cut and instruction! 💪💪
Phenomenal haircut by Dan as usual. Side note, the comb trick thing at 1:35, he held the bottom of the comb much lower on his own face than where he did it on the clients face, which made the angle change more. I don’t think the angle on Dan’s face and the clients face would be as different as they seemed if he held the bottom of the comb at the same spot on both of their faces.
Hey mate, I’d love a video talking about face shapes and your recommended cuts for each. Also, I’d love an in-depth view of your haircut as I feel I have the same face shape. Great videos! All the best
So much knowledge in cutting, finding the wants of clients, from start to finish
Dan's a wizard man. Perfect hairstyle to complement his head shape.
That scissor work is truly amazing.
I love this programme. I watch it all the time.

It boggles the mind how good a Barber Dan is
Wow, so gorgeous--perfect for this man. I find the discussion of how to "shape the face" with more or less hair length is relevant to me too as a woman who wears very short hair.
I never comment on KZread but I have to say You’re so talented Dan! I’m a woman and I don’t know why I got sucked in watching all your videos! But it honestly made me want to cut hair & now I cut my brothers hair haha I enjoy it

Dan's work is inspiring and amazing as always. My face is square like Marcus's, but my hair, i believe because it's thick, it sticks out on the sides, it doesn't sit and ends up getting weird when i make it a little longer. Would Dan have any tips for me please?
That’s it! Me and my mate Jonny are commencing a 3 month growth and booking in for a consultation and cut with Dan . We will obviously make a weekend out of too coming from Cumbria 😀
Am glad he's went to this hairdresser as to having this hair cut.as he's good in what he's doing Talented.Thankyou 👌
I love how you trat the clients and style the hair its ny favourite part
Dan is just phenomenal!
best video and cut yet
Everyone thinks most guys want skin fades but in all reality most guys wants regular haircuts like this. And believe it or not it’s harder to execute than most think. Coming from a fellow barber that was a great haircut.

I'm an older gent, and when I was a teenager skin fades were known as "skint" head. It was not considered a good haircut. It was meant to last longer until the next haircut.
You are an artist, brother.
Damn, solid haircut as always! His hair texture and Style at the end reminds me of nick batemans hairstyle!
Need Dan to give a quick tutorial on how he does his beard!
Spot on looked really good
Question for Dan! What clipper lengths do you use on your beard to fade it out into your hair? Any tips and advice? I have a very similar beard stye with areas with no hair under the lip like yours but have hair everywhere else and I have the same hairstyle but don’t want to keep going to the barbers just to keep my beard tidy more often than going to have to get my hair cut. Thanks 👌🏽
Amazing technique, I really wish I could do this!
Well Dan, I think it's finally time to share something about your passion for watches :-). I noticed in your videos an extensive collection of different bracelets, diameters and styles. Tell us some more!
Very nice! I watch Dan all the time. He’s so handsome and I love his voice ❤
Gorgeous hair transplant. The Dr was brilliant.
Great work of art.
What a master! Bravo
Really nice cut, nice to watch too.
Awesome👏🏻
Just perfect 🔥
Dan, what combs do you use? I've been scouring the internet and cannot find them. This one that you use for scissor/comb and the larger one for clipper/comb look awesome!
Looks great! Such a handsome client.
Looks amazing
Respectfully the best barber
I mean I get what he's saying about your "typical haircut" but at my shop we charge £10 for a standard haircut (upwards of £12 for fade and restyle) but that doesn't mean I don't take absolute care with every haircut including consultation (bar my regulars), I'd have no customers if I was charging £20+ because of the area I live in
Dan Gregory is awesome a total regal gentleman
Good hairdresser indeed as to telling you what's best as to cut and how your face looks good as well as to fit in what you need done could do with him in the hairdressers wear I go to .Well done .
Model looks and a kind face! That cut works nice for him.
Such a good barber. Able to give me a 90s 1 back n sides and can cut smart executive cuts as well. Very good at his trade
Great cut.
What brand and size scissors did you use for this cut? Awesome job!
Artist.
He must be very pleased with that great cut
Damn he almost teared up at the brilliance the result haha
Dan making us all look bad again, that scissor over comb work was *chefs kiss
Best barber ✌️
Nice and refreshing to see something other than Skin fade, skin fade, skin fade, skin fade.
Nice work but which hair product did you use??
Very cool. Amazing transplant. Is the model on any medication as part of the transplant to achieve this result?
What an artist..! Learning from India 👍
Very tidy cut ! 😊
really nice
Can we use scissor over comb for connecting sides and back to the top instead of taking vertical sections with the fingers?
Perfect, we'll done ❤️😊
Great job and nice hair transplant too, you should have tidied his facial hair too but overall a great job
This guy 1000% got a hair transplant.
There's not a price to put on all Dan consulting, amazing artist
He liked it….and kudos to Dan when he sensed he might have doubts having him try his adidas jacket to bring out the vibe he was after.
What's the styling powder Dan uses?
Handsome guy to gorgeous man!
I have an oval shape, and my hair is too short on the sides. Could you please tell me how long on the sides it should be?
Watch like 20 videos on this channel and not 1 , really , not 1 has ever disappoint. Out of 10 times at least I went for a haircut last year, 8 of them disappoint me.
He looks like a young Clint Eastwood 👍 Great cut pal 😉
Very good 😁👍🏼 hensem 😊

I know it's mainly experience. But how can one tell that that first initial cut/guide that you took in the back would work in giving you the right length that you were looking for all the way around?
Don’t understand the people hating on his hair transplant. It looks great.

You're not wrong.
top haircut
Looks good but these kinds of styles with loads of volume required are just too high maintenance imo the need for 2 different styling products, a hairdryer and hairspray it just gets exhausting to do it every day. I think the best style is either a very short textured cut or growing it out into a parted shoulder length style because they are two styles that can look good without even styling the hair. In these hot months especially I have no idea how anyone can be bothered to style a perfect voluminous quiff every morning too much hassle.
