Meh- at that time iPhones were making better cameras than what most ppl could afford. I hate it too but society has normalized this over time…leaving a lot of the real photographers out there hung out to dry. Foul👎🏼

fun fact! the brand is owned by a creepy old man who sends clothes to teenage girls and asked for photos of them everyday, if he does not like how the clothes look on they’re body he fires them! they are also not inclusive to sizes (hints the one size fits all). there’s a documentary on it for anyone wondering

I’ve been to brandy melleville only once, the clothes in there fit my body type and they were fine for me but you can tell they are deliberately being exclusive towards big people have everything one size hints that they are trying to point out the ideal size by having everything one size

It's pretty much well known they dont do this for accesibility or having skinny people in mind out of kindness or anything like that. They create a "us" (skinny, white, blond) and "them" (anything else) mentality in order to control, manipulate and exploit young girls who fit in the profile they want. Theres a very interesting documentary about this brand, its horrible.

By only having things in one size, they are not giving you options, they are literally telling you to be one particular size, not any bigger or smaller. It’s a way to marginalise anyone who doesn’t fit the ideal.
