It shows the other players in the server that you are not new to the site and that you know everything about it. Those who do not see this clearly have not played a single event in their lives. They still believe Robux shows skill, despite it not being free anymore. Nowadays, Robux is used to show how good you are at creating games for other users.

Same I didn't play events back then like 2010-2014 cus I was 4 but still, if there's a new event-free item or limited, I watch your videos and I am one of the first to get them ty sharkblox!

These are actually interesting to hear shark I recommend you to do more!

I didn't do events before because of one reason: *I didn't know about them* Kinda made me sad cus there were some pretty cool items I didn't get Now I do events so I can get items that I think look cool I didn't care about difficulty, I remember when I spent HOURS trying to get certain eggs in the 2020 egg hunt (including the eggs you didn't have to get), and I got all the eggs, but then that account got hacked about a week after I got the final egg , so I wasted HOURS of work, for nothing.

I were the same ever since i was a kid, i joined at 2017 and i was obsessed with obtaining these free events, i even kept asking my friends to come and get it with me but they all say it's either too hard to get or the item's not worth getting. I honestly think that the reason i were like this is because i never really experienced the old events back in 2009-2016 and i were always so jealous of the people who have those items in their inventories. Watching old tutorials on how to get old event items that aren't obtainable anymore have always gave me a bittersweet feeling because it seemed so enjoyable and memorable and also knowing the fact that i wasn't at that time to be able to get it. I've had these weird obsession that satisfies me everytime i look through my inventory and see all these items that I've got, and i always tell myself that "it's worth it" even though most of the time i question myself why am i like this.

Keep up this series I enjoy it a lot!

I was never interested in completing events. The prizes were either “too ugly” for me or “too hard” to get them. I didn’t even bother to purchase the items that were available for tickets because like I said, it was “too ugly”. I participate in more of these events throughout 2019-2020 because now I realize how much valuable these items are.

I can relate to the problem you had back in 2014 or so. I wouldn't say I'm as bad as you initially were (I would DEFINITELY not lose out on schoolwork/friends because of an event) but I do often await the next free item, and I get pretty excited when I hear a new free item is out despite me never wearing it. Not saying I'm addicted or anything, though.

I have that too. I think what drove me to do it is collecting limited items.

i do this, but i actually use the items i get tho, because i like the fact that they are exclusive (of course not the build it, play it or creator challenge ones, but i still do those) , like for example i got 43 egg hunt eggs back in April but a lot of them were fun to get, especially because i had my friend with me, i swear the egg hunt event could not have come out at a better time, my favorite ones i got was the Royal Egg of The Bearers and the Gourmet Egg, but before that i never really knew what events were because I only got back into ROBLOX when quarantine started, and when i stopped playing originally I was younger and didn't really participate in any events, accept one previous egg hunt, other than that i only got the free items and that was it, but now I think i'm back in ROBLOX to stay, so yeah, sorry for the long comment

Yeah, last year everytime there's new free items I always waste my time doing events but im like so lazy right now so i just do the ones with the coolest items and the easiest one to get

The only event I was ever addicted to was the boxtroll event and honestly I don't regret it even when I got all the items I would keep playing it because it was really fun to do it was basically a race through the cities and and tunnels and it was such an amazing looking event so I don't regret it.
