It is not completely gone, but manual exfoliation has helped me. I use an exfoliating stone in the shower. You want your skin wet for at least 5 minutes before you start using it, and the warmer the water the better (to help soften your skin and prevent goosebumps from affecting things). Then you just go for it - consistent/firm pressure, but not harsh. Up and down movement. No soap or body wash. I know you think you need it, but it renders the stone useless by providing a barrier. If your skin is wet/warm enough (...and you are patient), these little grey pillings of dead skin will start rolling off. The friction will probably feel like rug burn at first, but that is okay. Just ease off a bit and let the warm water soothe your skin. After you shave or whatnot, use lotion (preferably while your skin is still damp to lock in moisture). This is not a complete fix, but it has helped me. I have not tried it, but I have heard some good things about those 100% viscose rayon exfoliating mitts. Oh and if you are a bath person, using a stone will probably be easier for you because your skin is submerged in water and softens quicker. Your bath water will look nasty though. Alright... I have said my piece. I hope it helps someone. 😊

With chemical exfoliants u have to let em sit on ur skin for like at least 3 minutes so that it can actually do something cuz if u just scrub and wash it off it’s not gonna do anything. Also scrubs irritate the skin cuz they’re abrasive so that might be adding to the redness. So maybe use a salicylic acid wash or benzoyl peroxide wash and let it sit for a bit in the shower and then follow up with a cream with urea. I also struggle with strawberry legs. Im gonna switch to waxing because I think shaving is just not cutting it anymore. My routine is using zapzyt or panoxyl in the shower and then following up with eucerin roughness relief cream (has urea) and then I put on sweats and turn on the heater in my room just cuz I feel like when I’m warm my creams absorb better but that’s just me lol my legs aren’t perfect but they’re way better than before and it’s honestly just a constant pain in the butt to do this every shower

I feel you! They’ve started to not bother me as much! Just know that they’re super normal and common and we don’t have to hide them or be embarrassed. I’m trying to not be embarrassed of things that I can’t change🫶

same, and I'll be forever jealous of girls who can shave their legs in 5 minutes with some old rusty razor, without exfoliation or lotion and still have perfect legs. like my mom... why didn't I get these genes 🤧

Salicylic acid goes into the pores...panoxyl SA 2% could help that.

Salicylic acid goes into the pores and unclogs pores. Panoxyl SA 2% will go in and unclog, then moisturize with a lactic acid moisturizers or exfoliating ones. But apply sunscreen.

IPL actually works, I'm doing it for my legs, I'm almost done with my legs. You want to go slow with it if you go fast with it, you will get burned, but, other than that, it's totally fine, a tip for you, I noticed when I don't put anything on, that helps the hairs fall out easier, so, yeah. I hope this helps!

@deeteeedee it was on Amazon, but they took it off from Amazon, I don't know why. But, if you just type in Laser Hair Removal, you might find kinda the same one.

I know I tried the amlactin lotion and I see so many people rave that the lotion is great because the lactic acid help. This lotion was so thick and sticky feeling on the skin. And it burned after shaving my legs…oh it also had the worst smell ever. I really never saw an improvement with it. So this isn’t a recommendation but more of a don’t get item
