    Maybe put the gauge on one of the rear remotes to double check the system pressure. Loaders sometimes have an independent pressure relief valve.

    I like the idea of adding the Permatex to the new fittings, I had 2 leaks with newer attachments and that would have alerted me to them being loose.

    I get it, and I like it. I'm building a hydraulic auxiliary system for my Yanmar YT347 so I can run stuff like a SSKA brush cutter on the front of my tractor. Building it heavy as I can for ballast, the 1000 lbs of rim guard in my back tires is not enough. I think the hydraulic pressure is set conservatively because compact tractors need a lot of ballast.

    Nice! I've done some things like the rear toplink on my channel. i didn't know there was a side toplink - I can see that would be very useful. What might be the dangers of increasing the pressure besides hoses? Will it wear the pump out faster? Everyone wants the tractor to lift more but I'm not sure it's a good idea as my T25 (RK25) is rather tippy with a load now.

    It won't wear it out faster per se, but you run a risk of breaking it if the pressure is too high

    I increased my Kubota hydro PSI by about 300 - from 1850 to 2150. I was afraid to go higher, I didn't make much difference but it did improve lift capacity a bit. It was also a major pain to do!

    With the TYM, can you do a lift/lower and curl/dump at the same time with the loader? I could with my Kubota which was really handy when you are piling snow or debris but my Kioti tractor wouldn’t. Also, can the 3rd function operate simultaneously while the loader is being raised or curl/dump? I’m in the market for a new tractor and that is a feature I don’t want to overlook but can’t find that information on any of the reviews I’ve seen.

    Technically yes. There's a sweet spot at the 10 oclock and 2. Oclock position. I do it often. However, you gotta learn where that is on your loader joystick.

    Quick?? I gave a 474 hst and I live the tractor however I can’t run 2 functions at same time! Will this pressure turn up allow 2 functions at once?? Biggest thing is grapple work I can’t roll and operate grapple it will divert pressure to grapple function and stop lift or roll on fel

    No it won't help with that, but you should be able to find that sweet spot at the 10 o'clock and 2 oclock position for lift and curl and lower and dump. Its doable, just finesse it

    Hi Hank, what you are doing is a seriously bad idea, if your tractor had any warranty what you did very likely voided it. Did you know what the standard relief valve pressure spec is? The hose max spec is there for safety and you just reduced the safety margin, there are many fail points in a tractor, the hoses are just one, even the frame of the machine has limits. I was a tractor and machinery mechanic in the 1970's and 1980's and I used to spend a lot of time fixing hydraulics so I'll say it again, what you did was VERY bad idea.

  • @sosdesigns2381
    @sosdesigns23813 ай бұрын

    If you understand anything about hydraulics you don’t just go adjusting without knowing the what’s in the system and what other settings are. Manufacturer specs are there for a reason. Also taking settings to maximum or beyond is more wear and tear on your system. I suggest running pressure at or below manufacturer specifications. Anything else is what keeps me in business.

    I assume he his thinking the pump will break. But honestly, it's not gonna hurt it raising the pressure up slightly. Thats why I said in the video, don't get crazy with it. But going from 2200 to 2700psi won't hurt your pump (in my opinion)

    @@hhamilton1970 not assuming the pump will break. Just pointing out you mentioned the hose psi. That is not your components I'd be worried about. • @vstromrider625

    The limits will be the same because you have to factor the limits of the loader arms and its associated hardware not just your hydraulic pressure unless you want to break something. The biggest benefits I can see from increase hydraulic pressure is better implement response time from the controls given you more work efficiency, especially in the Florida heat in the summer.

    most tractors can lift a lot more than what they're actually rated at, The manufacturer downgrades them because they cannot guarantee if you don't have counterweight on the back which would cause you to tip over and get hurt and you end up suing them. So they're lifting capacity is set at tip over.

    what you are doing is dangerous and illegal. The hydraulic system is not dimensioned for what you turn the pump up to in pressure. One is how much pressure the pump can deliver, another is what the hydraulic system is designed for. It is no joke that the pressure relief valve is set at this pressure from the factory. The next thing is that you destroy the hydraulic system by driving with permanent excess pressure. The Stressed pressure in the system will wear out the hydraulic components quickly and cause breakdowns much earlier than the normal life of the tractor.

    Working pressure for the system is 170bar (2465psi) which is pretty much what the relief valve dropped it to when he did the function. You are perfectly entitled to set the machine to the manufacturers specifications.
