Not sure what I was seeing and listening. But the part where u said u weren’t ready for painting and having your own show. I call bullshit. Those pieces of work were all incredible. Wish I could own one. Lol. Keep doing you bro. The artwork is sick. I’ve followed you for years. Found u going through a divorce and binge watched every video. Incredible. Continued success
Great work and one of the coolest canvas reveals I have seen on KZread!

I only lasted 1 1/2 semesters, but back in 1985 when I went to the Art Institute in Dallas they had a room filled with media like art books, a few comics, and a gazillion magazines that we were encouraged to use for whatever. Those Nat Geo were awesome for inspiration for sure. Very cool to see Kiptoe go a little 'old school' haha :) If you read this, your color pallets, and entire videos, are always interesting & inspiring, thanks .

OMG, I can hear people screeching and screaming from here at every page rip. There are people who collect those and they have some with HUGE value. I wish I could of attended, I would love to own one of those paintings, or even one of your paint cans, just struggling at the moment. This work turned out FANTASTIC!

I love watching the process of people finding references. It’s a skill set that I’m really lacking in and I know it would elevate my art. I’m just really bad at the process. Nat Geos are a great idea to keep off the devices.

I do not usually enjoy watching any videos longer than 15, maybe 20 minutes. But, I would sit still and watch yours for an hour or more. I have subscribed as I have learned the most about art/painting just watching a few of yours. I began watching your wall paintings and by listening to your descriptions of what, why, or how you accomplish these things. I've only recently begun painting on canvas the last 3 or 4 years, watching KZread vids and other things as I've learned and felt my way around. This video right here has cemented my thoughts about the process on my own and I do not enjoy doing what everybody else does just because "they" do it. I don't just listen to what you say but, meld it with my own experience, feeling that someone "gets" what I do or say. Although I'm still just beginning, I'm no where near your talent or experience. But I'm still growing. I'll get there. Watching you work, I'm comfortable going along for the ride. And knowing I'm not alone. We both do things at our own level. So, thanks. I'm glad I've found this channel. Just never stop creating. Ps. I'm a 67 year old student. Still learning, now creating. 😊
It's refreshing to see someone who is different from all the others so intriguing
I wish you knew how truly talented you are and how inspiring your art is. You don't give yourself enough credit!
I think the hardest part for an artist is to "get out of their own way" That inner battle critic simply needs to take a hike. Just DO. Great work and love your process.
the girl with the horns in the middle is so good! I really love the colour pallet you used in this one. Really good!

As a young artist working hard on getting into galleries and shows, I don't know if you ever feel truly ready. I've only managed to get into one show in four years of applying. Also, I resonate so hard with the no-studio work with your canvases- all my work is done on my bedroom wall and floor. Micro-collage is easier than great big canvases in that sense 😂
You've always pushed the boundary between displaying your creativity through a variety of mediums (fine arts together with video), but this one takes the cake. From learning of a new method to find inspiration from tired old magazines, to hearing the story behind the painting at the end, this is the pinnacle of being a fly on the wall sitting behind an artist!
We used to call this building a reference morgue. Before the internet, you had to get reference picture from the library or local newspapers.
Please don't stop painting ❤❤❤
Kudos to the camera work and the production. Stellar quality!
I thought to myself that the feathers were extra refined this time around and then your take at 12:30 reassured I’m sure you know it too! Always amazing to see the developments

I can’t imagine the hours of hard work and imagination in the art itself plus the editing… Amazing job !
The fact that your ad reads are so well done and tell a great story (loved the little figures in it, and smiled when you took an ear bud out to share with the figure) is amazing. Just icing on the rest of the video and project/piece. Which is amazing. Your style and inspirational tone is always a kick in the pants to get out and try some new stuff. Keep being you!

I don't normally comment on your vids but this is f'n awesome. Your a true artist. Unlike most of the simple shapes crap in galleries these days that's being falsely hailed as "art", this is the real deal. Bravo!
Genuinely one of my favorite pieces of art I’ve ever seen
The message you included in the end about the man forging a new path and self doubt creeping in is very relatable to my situation right now, great piece of work!!!
I'd love to see this as a series! Between the storytelling from you, Ten Hun, and Jazza, I will be forever entertained
this is beyond brilliant the man is not just an artist ,the story n the way he tells it and it made so much sense with the painting, and the concept and color pallet is just mindblowing as always
The final reveal was awesome with the supported sound design walkthrough - the different angles really giving the piece justice! - Also that was an absoulte sealll of a bargin for all of them magazines, gawd dayum!
Dude I have been painting for years, but that tip about painting antlers and elements like that is REALLY, REALLY good! Haha, never thought about that.
I love how you used the Sámi boys national suit swags as inspiration to clothes the character in the middle has even it wasn’t the main focus. The suit on the boy, if I’m not mistaken is Enontekiö (Finland)-Kautokeino (Norway) area national suit.. anyone knows better may correct the fact and the way you made the horns talking about history reflects what they have gone through hits the time and date at the moment cause the nation of Sámi is going through a lot at this very moment of time because of the Sámi Parliament of Finland law bill and how the government is not handeling it well for the natives. As a person growing up in these areas with them, this was the most inspiring part of the painting for me. To add the swags in the national suit tells which area the person is from, his status in the community, marital status and whole a lot of history.
My art teacher in high school had us do this same thing. We made some great fantasy works. This is an excellent way to get inspiration. Keep on spilling paint
As an artist who works in a completely different way I have to say I love watching you work. So cool.
Hey, you should add a drinking bottle or flask designed similar to your spray cans to your shop, those look so dope! Imagine seeing someone in the gym drinking out of a bottle like that
The Canvas reveal is a game changer for the graffiti artists in YT ... it embodies the true purpose of the ART. What story it will tell in your imagination. It is not just a visual experience. It is a new dimension for your brain where it can develop whole new level of knowledge and skills. The ART can teach you how you can modify your reality to be a better world.
Damn man, I'm a 65 year old dude who just got started trying to paint, right now I kinda suck,ha ha but you have been an inspiration for me. Wonderful video brother.
Once again, you have impressed me not only with your artistic painting talent which always blows my mind but the way you make your videos. You are IT my friend!
It would be mind blowing to see this on the cover of a graphic novel. The story you described at the end sounds super interesting.
I have to say I’m so addicted was watching your videos. It’s so inspiring and so self healing. Thank you for sharing your wonderful tell him with the world.👏🏽👏🏽
My Dad painted portraits as a hobby. They said he could make people look more like themselves than a photograph. In the early sixties, when I was a little kid, he was looking through a couple National Geographic’s at a doctors office. Since they were old he asked if he could tear a page out of two different magazines. They said sure. One was the Taj Mahal and another was a belly dancer. As was popular at the time he painted on black velvet. It was difficult he said because he had to paint with the nap of the cloth. I still have the painting. A belly dancer in front of a silhouette of the Taj Mahal. The dancer’s face bares an uncanny resemblance to my mother. My Dad passed away before KZread was popular but I know he would’ve loved your work.
I'm a fan of your work, and I'm also an artist and I do agree that these types of paintings are so much fun. LOL, I also look for inspiration in magazines and photographs I take of my everyday life as I go to different places. Awesome!
I hope the "rest" of the natual geographic did not end up in the trash. A lot of crafter (including me) would love to have them to use them in collages. I love art shows. And in my opinion it is a nice way to interact with poeple who love art. I love you style and paintings, no matter if they are on canvas or on a wall!

Love it Kip-toe, you have always been a visionary storyteller . I notice that from the jump. Even your video work from the beginning I saw that and really loved how genuine you are. You can bring your audience into whatever your creating while you explore your process. I love that about you, cuz as an artist we get what your saying. Love that you had a sponsor on mental issues cuz lord knows we all have them in our lifetime. So glad to see you challenging your canvas skills. Really glad I watched your video. Just a little secret, after watching you I always wanting to go paint. Thanks for being a great artist, teacher, storyteller, videographer, scriptwriter , video editor and all that I am forgetting. So many people really don’t understand it’s not just the art you had to learn. Bro this is a great video. My favorite parts the broken antler and the mysterious cowboys venture. It’s been a while but know your on my list of artist who touched my inner core. Your beautiful and keep on riding! Or is it writing😂 love from Texas

Well i have been watching you for a couple of years and it really amazing to see how your art has evolved over time.... one thing i have seen is your proportions that makes your character come alive has been the biggest improvement and that gives that high fantasy mix with reality
great painting!!!, love the idea of using old magazines as inspiration
A trilogy is an AWESOME idea. I mean, you've really inspired me to try something with a paintbrush just to see what I can do, but I'm looking forward to seeing more with this idea. Thank you for sharing this, your art gallery story, & the creative description of this painting. Also, the magazine inspiration, threw me. I'd just never have thought of old National Geographic inspiring something like this. WOW!
My good sir !!!! You are AMAZING!!!!
Another excellent vid. Thanks for being vulnerable man. It would be super easy to allow ego to run the ship and just make it all seem so easy. But I respect you so much more for being real. It's important to know who you are before and after art shows. Your identity never hinges on the paintings you sell. Much more are the lives touched in the course of your life. Keep doing what your doing brother . I'll say it again because I believe it. I can't wait to be working on our first project together. Not because of any money or fame..but because it will mean you and I chose a project to change the world with. Hmu when your ready.
In my humble opinion…. You were ready for your exhibition …. Great work homie…. Inspirational no doubt

Cool stuff! I like how describe the the difference between working on a large wall versus a canvas and how big wall has its own gravitas just from the size alone. So true! what's great is that your walls can act as billboards for your canvas or "gallery" works.
Awesome! I have used the eye popping photography of National Geographic as a source of inspiration for decades.
I love Natinoal Geographic magazines and I have a few, I also liked the Smithsonian magazines. They have some beautiful pictures and you have taken Collage art to a new level.. Good Work! I love it, I am subscribed, thumbs up and commented.. will watch more..thank you.

Sainer and Aryz are my top two favorite artists- cool to see them pop up in your video!
Thank you for your amazing art and your frankness in talking about mental health. The part of your video on you and the critic was great! You are such a wonderful storyteller through painting and video. The critic can be so freaking loud in the quietness and isolation of doing art. Audiobooks online from the library have been my saving grace from the critic (bonus they are free). Better than music most days. It was fascinating to see how you come up with ideas for your fine art on canvas. Thank you!
