Would this be good for cornrows on natural hair? No extensions, am looking for something to keep my cornrows moisturized and on point.

Jam is for ponytails, braids and slick down styles. I wouldn’t use it for a wash n go. It came out nice.

I use to love Let's Jam on relaxed hair to slick my hair down, but since I've been natural I find it to be very greasy too. Love your video!

I have very loose type 3 hair and idk this is my favorite gel. I know it’s supposed to be for edge control and slick back, but it wasn’t greasy or sticky when I used it, I got great definition and basically no frizz. Absolutely loved it

The shine n jam is good for slick backs or sleek styles. It is greasy though. I like to mix it with Murrays twist and loc gel cream for edges. Holds like a beauty! It also adds shine to sleek styles

Tried Jam yrs ago never liked the product greasy &/or oily.😀

I haven’t. I don’t mind puffy roots, (helps with volume) but maybe I’ll try it for the sake of a video. Let me go watch some and see others results

I used to use jam on my hair when I was a kid and my edges used to melt off 😭😭😭

My hair wouldn't allow me to even try if I wanted lol but I'm curious as to how this held up.

What if you tried this again but with a moisturizing leave in first? Could change the results and the feel? Cute either way tho

That's sweet of you to check on her. I'm like that too. When she was upset and that TV got broke, I was looking for a way to connect with her on the side to just encourage her. I've been through somethings in life and my goal was to help my young sisters coming behind me to encourage them, just listen or help guide them where they needed help. 😊

I’m 2 years late but everyone keeps calling it greasy but like it says you have to apply small amounts , if you use too much of course it will be greasy like any other product I’m sorry but my hair loves it better than actual grease lol It conditions my hair so good and once I twist it I rub the jam on the twists and they feel so soft and it also detangles very well

The jam feels weird in the palms especially when your hands are wet.

Baby girl, I only use it for ponytails now or on my edges but as much as I use to love it on my relaxed hair, it is different for natural hair. I rarely use it but I keep it inside my travel bag for backup.😏

I used it for a twist out and it was great

I recently tried jam honey for naturals and I believe it took my hair out AND it makes my hair greasy and puffy later throughout the day 😩

I made the mistake a few weeks ago and used Let’s Jam for edge control and my entire face was greasy.

I like jam but i have to add something else to give me a extra hold now that im natural...I really use it when i was relaxed

I use it for my twists and braids over my other products then I keep it neat with a little edge control 😉

I picked this up on a whim from target & I don’t why everyone says it’s greasy that hasn’t been my experience at all. It moisturizes & defines for me

I tried that product once because someone recommended it for me to do slick backs on blown out hair. The oil was horrible I hate it so much 😂 I never used it again. I wonder if all the products are like that.

I just bought shine and jam and people say it's been around since back in the day I now remember just never tried it ..it great for natural hair I mean it slicks it way back but the oil after is like too much I mean it's not like grease but it's def oily after almost feels like you qreased it lmao well I guess it's very hydrating and no flakes which I love now I know why I use to see so much shiny hairstyles

I remember everybody used jam in the early 2000s and it was soo popular then my mom never used jam on my hair even tho I wanted to try it so bad then lol then I found out years later it's really not that good I remember all the black girls would always slick down their edges with jam and it would be all dry or left with the white flaky residue from the jam lol now eco styler is the new it everybody is using crazy how times change and new things come into style one day eco styler will be something in the past and something new will come along in those years...just beautiful how new things come into play😍miss the good days tho but we'll never forget the jam tho everybody's first💌💕

Very. Their protein gel is an actual gel and works great. But this stuff has always been greasy
