FYI ice melts at light level 11, mobs spawn at light level 7 or 0 depending on what version you're running. Torch gives light level 14, Redstone torch gives light level 8 (which means it is completely safe for ice).

I think emerald ore is only considered “rare” as it only occurs in certain biomes. If you go to those biomes. It should not be to difficult to find one

Fun fact: Axolotls play dead when injured so when you saw one sideways it was him playing dead due to the creeper, it wasn’t a bug at all! Ps: I can’t wait to see what you plan for your hardcore world :D

axolotls are very complex and have a lot of cool mechanics... if you do more with them than just shove one in an aquarium

@B it is. The only reason he is using the netherite block for his house is for KZread content. He's also in hardcore and in hardcore,most people would want to be in maxed out netherite for maximum protection

When you found the emeralds that quickly it’s actually normal, it’s not that much rarer than diamond in terms of how much you’ll find in a chunk, the rare fact is that they are only in the mountain biomes, so yeah

Ill comment again on a more recent video once I get to it, but dude you have revolutionized the way I see Minecraft! I am so in to your style of content and love the effort you put into it man. I started playing Minecraft in 2011 and stopped sometime in the 1.5-1.7 era and I am just now getting back into playing, although I have played multiplayer here and there throughout the las few years I have only played single player maybe 3 times and to only kill the dragon and that was it, I have always wanted to go further but just got so burnt out, but I have started to see things a little differently because I have actually found a series I genuinely enjoy. Your chill as hell, and don't make me feel like a child watching a sandbox game. I'm an adult watching a block game. Is that any better? Probably not but at least I'm finally enjoying it again lol. Anyways, I just died in my hardcore world after 12 hours straight and roughly 30 in game days, all because I completely forgot the original purpose of the iron golem is to freaking protect villagers, including the nit-wit ones that dont get jobs. Yeah I was pissed. Enjoy my pain, cuz Im gonna catch up on some features and villager trading and restart. Got some plans this go round.

The only reason emerald is the rarest ore is because of how small the veins are, and the fact it only spawns in a specific biome, unlike diamond that spawns everywhere in veins up to 8.
