I do this every 6 months but I follow up with a moisturizing shampoo to clean my scalp and to put some moisture back into my locs cause this does strip every ounce of moisture from your locs. Then I do a hot oil treatment. Results squeaky clean, light, moisturized locs💙

I felt drawn to watch. Good video and they look awesome. I haven't done this yet with my locs, but I have before with short hair during a hard week. So props for going hard. Definitely spending some time on the channel today.

@J3SYKA ! Only do it at the minimum every 6 months but if you need to, then do it every 3 months. Do it on the locs, not the scalp.

Idk why the rinse was so soothing to watch 😂. I’ve thought about trying this but have been afraid that it will dry my locs out

It does strip your hair of oils but it is a very deep clean.

😂😂😂 “my locs smelled like a clean kitchen afterwards.” I tried spot treating some buildup with some DAWN last weekend! Didn’t work for me at all. lol

It's ok if that's good for ur hair, it's doesn't matter hun
