He has always shown that side to her from the beginning which shows that she has been a special person for him.

You can tell how much Jinmi grew just by the tone of her voice and how it changed through the movie. It used to be so pure and innocent, now it’s filled with maturity, sorrow and pain

Gosh!! I still can't move on from this. I've watched several dramas and movies after watching this but I ended up going back whenever I finished one. Ashes of Love made my heart locked up into their world. When I first watch this episode, I thought Xufeng would give up Jinmi but my heart cried when he said "Perhaps, we can have a fresh start". Their love for each other is endless.💜💚

I just discovered this masterpiece thus year and so far, for me, this is the best Chinese historical drama. There are no boring episodes, you get anxious of what would happen, and most of all the chemistry between Denglun and Yanzhi!!!

4:13 This is the part that hurt the most in this episode. :') Why do I do this to myself and watch tragedies? At least the ending was happy, but everything in between was... 🥺.

When he answered : "We can't return to what was before."..that can slice the heart into pieces! That must hurt Jin Mi a lot!

I died when he said that. Longest pause of my life. I was like what?! No!!! It's episode 62!!! Is it gonna end with a sad ending?!!??!!!!! Noooo. Lol. But bam. Phoenix proved me wrong with his beautiful back hug and "let's have a fresh start." Because it's true, the past can't be rewritten or relived. So, moving forward with a fresh start is the best and sweetest response ❤️

@@Ritercrazy I understand your feeling. After they returned to the heaven realm and problems started to show up, I had mixed feeling whether to continue watching the show. Especially when she stabbed him at the wedding which is so hard to watch even now. I felt the same pain every time I watched the series that have Xu Feng hurt Jin Mi in words and deeds because he thought of her betrayal.

I watched this over and over and realised that Phoenix's answer was as usual, straight forward to the matter. How can they go back to the past? That time is lost forever, they've been through a lot, he died, became an orphan and Even more, lost his Divine esence and turn out a Demon forever. So that Jin Mi and that Phoenix from the past doesn't exist anymore....after all the pain, betrayal, misunderstading and all the consecuences, the only thing that remained is their feelings for each other. So the only way for them is starting over.

All 3, Phoenix, Jin Mi and Ren Yu all have to grow up, not just Jin Mi. In the novel, it takes Phoenix death for JM to know that she loves him; Jin Mi's death for Phoenix to know she loves him, and Ren Yu to know that he loves JM more than the throne.

Abwooli Ann even though at this time he didn’t know the fact about the pill in her heart that prevents her from feeling love but he knew that in order to resurrected him she almost turned into ashes and lost her eyes color. Also, she created and wanted him to take the plant to cure the coldness side effects that Run Yu added to his resurrected nine time refine pill. He touched by all that actions and most of all he loves her so much that even he was hurt deeply from the back stab he can’t let her go at the end. He also knew She was manipulated to kill him by Run Yu and Sui He set him up.
