To be fair it would’ve been a waste of money. Both British-Canadia and the Americans had eyes on the territory and there would’ve been literally nothing Lichtenstein could do to stop them from simply annexing Alaska if they bought it. Being both a Microstate and double landlocked doesn’t exactly provide one much international influence.

Funny thing, back in 1837 the Russians were actually having talks to sell Alaska to the Principality of Liechtenstein, before they sold it to the USA.
