You're tearing it down? That's devastating :( I was just about to comment some advice I had thought of to keep this ecosystem thriving. Though if anyone is interested, here is what I thought of. As you can probably see, most people are asking for this to become a series in a shed or greenhouse, and I think that idea would be perfect, especially to help with some of my ideas; One of the first things I noticed was that Jay planted a tree in the corner of the room. Now this is really great for the creatures, but my first thought about this was something I read about a year ago. Some scientists created a completely enclosed, artificial environment called Biosphere 2 and made one mistake that caused all the trees to fall down before maturation: there was no wind so trees failed to develop stress wood, which is necessary for them to stand. There are some other theories on why Biosphere 2 failed, but this got me thinking, what if you found a way to recreate weather cycles? There is another youtuber I watch called Dr. Plants, and he creates terrariums. Within one of his more recent videos about creating a desert terrarium (link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qZ2mmcymlcnflcY.html ) he installs a device to simulate a storm. That got me thinking, if Jay could find a way to do this, that would benefit the entire ecosystem, it would strengthen the trees so they could create stress wood and strengthen their roots, plus refresh the ecosystem entirely. Of course, this would not be an option within a room in Jay's house on the second story. But if Jay was to recreate this, in say, a greenhouse or a shed, it would be the perfect place to install a proper weather simulator & include a drainage system. Another note was simply that within the pond, if Jay intended to have actual animals (like Craig, Pascal and the crickets) interacting with it (drinking from it, swimming in it), then it would probably be best to include a filtration system. Even a cheap one off Amazon, like one you would see in a fish tank. Unless of course, he intended to make the pond an ecosystem of its own 👀. Though that would take countless hours and take away from the overall room. But with a filtration system, it would stop the water from sitting still all day and creating an environment for festering bacteria and such. (Also creating an easier way for the animals to climb out instead of just having a plastic surface and some dangling moss would prevent any animals on the less intelligent side from drowning). My final note was that Craig is, in fact, a tree frog, as you all know. This means that he naturally lives in trees. Tree frogs interact with ponds and water yes, but had you left him in there for another few days, most likely he would have gravitated to the tree and possibly had a conflict with Pascal. I don't know all that much about tree frogs and anoles, but it is possible they could get territorial. Essentially, Craig probably would need a tree of his own to live in. If Jay did happen to upgrade the ecosystem, then perhaps even introducing some friends for Craig and Pascal could be cute? Anyway, if anyone actually bothered to read this, thank you! Keeping in mind I'm not an expert, feel free to correct me and I will edit my comment. I hope dearly Jay takes all the comments into consideration and maybe creates a bigger version of this ecosystem? Regardless, have a great day lovelies

I would like to also add on to this sort of that he got the ecosytem for the actual animals, like you sort of mentioned, completely wrong. Tree frogs are arboreal species, and they need actual trees and specific tropical plants to hide in. You also mentioned a pond filtration system, which is a great idea, but you cant have a cheap filtration system for a pond that size. Its going to run you a few hundred bucks, and it needs constant care, and you need to make sure to keep all of the beneficial bacteria. If he does this again, he should introduce plants more native to the climates and regions in which the animals he introduce live in. Either way you made some great points all of which would be helpful if he did something like this in the future.
