Kansas state tailgates are like no other

The “farm” is agronomy and milling facilities for KSU btw

I am a now former member of the Kansas State University Marching Band. I marched on that field for 5 out of 6 years in my college career. I did the clarinet (yes it was tough in the winter). Because I was in the band, I got to witness them win the Big XII Championship in 2023. Go Cats!

I thought it would be cool to add, that chair in the basketball court is one that is used for time out challenges. It hasn't been won in years and is a sponsored item from a nearby furniture retailer. It was used recently in a lay down free throw challenge. If you win the challeneg you win the chair.

Bill Snyder single-handedly saved Kansas State football. He deserves all the tributes.

Wow. That’s cool as hell what they did for ya. I visit every D1 school in the nation and try to get inside all the football stadiums (trying to find that one open gate). A lot of times there isn’t an open gate and usually they yell at me to not be here or we’re not letting you in Edit: oh dang, just discovered your channel. You do exactly what I do. I’ve thought about filming, but never had it in me

That random chair is actually there for a deadball student challenge where if a student makes a free throw while reclined in the chair they get a recliner. 4 years there I never saw anyone get it. Glad you enjoyed your time in the Little Apple and Go Cats!

Don't know when you did your walk thru. You missed the new indoor and outdoor practice football fields. The castle part of The Bill is on the west side, the new facilities are on the east side. There's only a wide sidewalk separating the two.

As a Manhattan resident, thats actually not a farm. It's part of the agriculture campus for K-State :). It's also about only a 3 minute drive to the downtown area (aggieville)

Only two schools I know with respect for their coaching legends equal or more revered than Kstate and Bill Snyder...Nebraska Cornhuskers fan love of Tom Osborne is definitely more intense than any I've ever seen and always got a similar sense of loyalty with the Oklahoma Sooners with Switzer back in the day.
