If you like rice cakes, I'd recommend the ice cream 'Yukimi-daifuku'⛄️ It melts at room temperature straight away, so put it in the freezer until 1-2 minutes before you eat it!🤣 Quail eggs, dried salmon and squid are commonly eaten with beer or sake in Japan as 'otsumami', so if anyone doesn't mind smoked seafood, they should try that combination.

As far as I know, all that dried seafood is actually a snack for eating together with beer or an alcoholic drink. I've tried the squid with canned beer, and it tastes so much better together than eating the squid on its own.

I actually prefer this than typical grocery shopping, as a cashier. Snacks are dry, light and easily packed. 2 trolleys of snacks can be packed faster than half a trolley of grocery.

Is that the one in shibuya it’s the tallest buildings and you can take an elevator up to a bar/restaurant with view. The ambiance is all red and black. The elevator you take lights up in pastels and has images of angels and sings to you? I went to it when I was in Japan and have been searching for the name of the place since then.

Oblaat was introduced to Japan by Dutch pharmaceutical companies in the late 19th century to wrap bad tasting medicine so that it could be swallowed without tasting any bitter powder. ボンタン飴はオブラート込みで美味しいですね。

the thing felix ate at 17:33 is called "umaibo" which translates to "tasty stick" and he bought the worst flavor imo. theres also a cheese flavor and its so good i would rate it higher than even the pizza chips. its also very cheap its like 10 yen (=7 cents i think)

First of all, I love seeing felix and pewdiepie in the same video together 😊 second of all, marzia always likes the stuff felix doesn't 😂 and third of all, this makes me want to try some of those out!

watching pewds video made me realize how growing up from different cultures can affect one’s preference for food sooo much 😂 most snacks that pewds gave a relatively low rating are actually not that bad to me! ps I grew up in hong kong so many of these snacks were a big part of my childhood

Why does it sound like Marzia intentionally alters the sound of her voice to make it higher pitched/cuter? It does not sound like her natural voice when she speaks most of the time. Sometimes she speaks and suddenly the pitch is lower and more natural.

i can vouch for this, my fav is their potabee and japota lineup (idk what is the name for the jp version but they sell it with that name here)

The pie one felix ate is a collab version and its normal version is chocolate. Its really good so hope you try it sometime!!

Those pickled plums are called Umeboshi and as far as i know, theyre not typically eaten alone. Theyre similar to sloe berries and olives in that they need to be pickled to dial down the bitterness. Ive seen katsu recipes that call for Umeboshi which look great, and i bet the fresh plum tastes better than dried ones
