I am Swedish and would also say "vad är klockan", so I think you could give yourself a point for that! Even though "hur mycket är klockan" is probably the more gramatically accurate answer, but in everyday speech I'd say the first one is more common. Nice video!

Vad är klockan is technically ok.. But you run the risk of a Gothenburger answering you literally instead of giving you an answer you expect. (They think it is funny)... Since there are about 300000 Gothenburgers in Sweden out of 10000000.. And some of them travel.. Be prepared...

I'm only a month(?) into learning swedish, and even less since learning about Sweden, but these videos make me really happy oh! something to note, I really like when swedish words are on screen while people are reading them, it helps me with pronunciation (american english is my first language, so I struggle with ö and ä especially jfnfnd) awesome video though, again I like hearing random facts. my current favorite swedish fact is that they have to import trash from norway(I believe? either that or Finland) because they recycle too much

Yes, they import rubbish to burn and create energy, as far as I understand! Good luck in your Swedish studies!

You shouldn't be having trouble pronouncing the Ä ä... Because it has an identical vowel sound in English.. Ä is equal to A in the word mad... bad.. had... lad...

Strindberg is not necessarily every swedes greatest author. I would not say we are used to saying that he is that. Our present king Carl den sextonde Gustaf is the father of Kronprinsessan Viktoria, The southern city of Scandinavia was a strange question, Lutheran yes but i would choose to say protestant which is almost the same. Olof Palme was shot on a street in Stockholm and the investigation into his murder ended 2021. Swedens longest investigation where the police kept a special group on the case. They think they know who killed him but that man was dead when the investigation ended and the initial evidence is all over the place. The question where the answer was Uppsala, how did that one go? Did not catch that or understood. I live in Uppsala so some of the questions were easy for me. 31 answers correct.

@@WelshASMR82Nordics yes just the right size for a city in my opinion. Sad now that every other person moves to the area and the city planners are in crisis. Hate it if we grow into Stockholm, two citys becoming one.

A Lutheran is a Protestant, but a Protestant is far from necessarily a Lutheran.
