I Trust NO ONE Who Sells "Performance" Car Parts

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Good information seems to be hard to find these days. There are way too many disingenuous people in this industry that only care about selling parts, so their "information" can be skewed to favor their business.

I read that it gets injected in the cold side charge pipe so that the methanol has more time to cool the actual air intake temperature when the methanol and water atomizes into the air

I trust adam at tuneplus. I think the earlier post was when the platform was barely being developed. Tuneplus is the most experienced and proven ecoboost builder and tuner. Put it this way Tuneplus has done everything EMS is doing now and figured out the limits and every trick in the book a long time ago. So if tuneplus has specific guidelines its for a reason and not meant to take money from you. I think a little more accountability on your side is needed lol . U wanted to figure this out on your own from the beginning, the average person would just contact tuneplus before buying the kit and asking the questions needed for tuning. Thats why it says email for any questions lol

I've referenced Tune Plus's information a few times. I think their data and information is better than most. I'm still am taking any information I find as a guideline, even from Tune Plus. There's a method to my madness, trust me bro.

Also let me ask you this I run a throttle plate to spray my methanol, and I have it hooked to a solenoid. What is your thought on that? Any downside I know snow performance makes a 90° elbow with a grommet to fit into your factory cold side rubber intake pipe would that be better than what I’m using on a throttle plate, I haven’t had any problems with my methanol kit other than using the M5 and letting it sit in there for a while in the oil seeping through the threads. Also with that kit it comes with a boost pressure switch to activate it when it hits 15 pounds I upgraded to the BNR 525 and that pressure switch activates at like eight or 10 probably more volume of air

Well, I think Tune Plus has a good point for mounting nozzle in the charge pipe. But if your car is running good, I wouldn't change a thing.

*EDIT* So I goofed when I was talking about the throttle body spacer. For some dumb reason, I thought the spacer was before the throttle plate, not after 😅. Still, due the way the throttle plate operates on these cars, it still may cause pooling, or uneven cylinder filling.

From what I remember with the EMS emails wasn’t he just giving you recommendations and not direct answers? If so I’ve seen plenty of company’s do that to avoid liability

I first reached out to him, asking about the cylinder head. He provided great information, telling me that the RS head is the same as any other 2.3 head. Once I got the engine back together and was noticing audible detonation and Overboosting, I reached out to him again to get some incite, and instead of providing useful information like he did the first time, he proceeded to imply that it was my fault that engine blew, because of the WG actuator. I messaged him for some incite to the problem, he replied asking about the mods. I gave him a run down of the new setup, and out of all the parts, he questioned the WG actuator. I told him that it was working fine, and it wasn't overboosting on the stock engine. He then replied back, saying I already blew up one engine and I'm going to blow up the new one. That's not what he said word for word, but it was most definitely his implication. Obviously that WG had nothing to do with the old engine blowing, and it's still on the car now, and I haven't had the problem since I started tuning the car. I was fired up after his last message, and it still bugs me. It's like his response was passive-aggressive because I questioned his knowledge.

Perhaps if you bench tested a direct port plate, set up properly, you’d see any difference in distribution from cylinder to cylinder is negligible. It’s irresponsible to claim unequal distribution, unless you test and show (prove) there’s a significant difference. Also, the intake is designed for dry use, not wet, as I’m sure you know. Richard Holdner has a few videos about meth injection, and he address how suspended water/meth can form droplets, separate, and puddle, when negotiating a path through “dry intake” runners, check em out. At some point, Adam (TunePlus) is going to watch your video, because someone will likely light him up over it, and you’ll get publicly roasted, with a few choice words. I’ve never heard of him letting anyone calling him out, like you did, slide. Good luck, he’s smart, well accomplished, and ruthless if provoked! I’d say you’ve really stepped in it this time, but it’s going to be highly entertaining, lol! 🤣

@@KarzKreated sometimes you need to think before you speak, and look at things logically. The EB S550 came out in 2015, and a lot of products were developed and sold, and time, as usual, sorts out what works better and what doesn’t work at all. There are various reasons why products change over time, and expecting companies to go back and scrub the record of previous products, means n methods, is nonsense. Performance enthusiasts should be looking for the latest solutions and most refined products, used by those who are already successfully accomplishing what they want to accomplish. It’s ok to trust… but more important to verify. Using years old information to question or try and discredit someone, is not a smart move. I get that you’re likely just creating drama intentionally, for the sake of KZread, and not as naive as you present yourself. It’s a great learning experience for you, and I’m sure you’ll grow from it.

I feel like you're villanizing me. I walked through my thought process in the video, explaining the possible reasons why they changed their information. One of the key points of the video is how easy it is for people who don't know anything, find information that may be considered outdated, or incorrect. Tune Plus just happened to provide a great example to prove my point. If you were unable to comprehend that, I'm sorry. You have been very condescending, and I generally look past your comments. This time, it needed to be addressed.

@@KarzKreated I comprehended your video just fine, or at least I think so… watched it from beginning to end. My take is you’re not unlike many who change their narrative as it goes, to suit themselves after the fact, by adding additional “context.” Not faulting you for it, because it’s common. If what you now claim as your intention, was in fact your real intention, I believe it’s what you’d have lead with… but you didn’t. Your warning to newbies would be how old information may not be accurate information, because time either validates or corrects our initial thoughts. Doctors recommend certain medications with certainty, then years later change their opinion, because time proved otherwise. It would be extremely unfair to hold TunePlus, EMS, or anyone else to higher standards, than professionals at the highest levels, don’t you agree? They make recommendations based on the best information and products available at the time… which marches on, and things change. You completely glossed over what you said, your sarcastic tone, and tag line, which I liked, but your supporting information could be a bit stronger, and better organized. If you want to make things up as you go and offer your own made up defense of ridiculousness, nobody can stop you, it’s your channel. Truth be told, impetulant actions constantly land you in trouble, and that’s what’s entertaining about the videos you’ve posted on the EB Mustang, so I’d hesitate to change it if I were you. I don’t expect you to know it all from the start, because you’re learning as you go, and I like that. Hopefully, even the beginners recognize your lack of knowledge, but willingness to seek it, even if it means royally screwing things up in the process. That’s an endearing and funny quality that makes your journey worth following! I can’t wait to see the next train wreck of a situation you’re in, because you’re the kind of guy who laughs at instructions, parts and pieces things together (because you know better than manufacturers) and haphazardly attempt to “fix” things according to your own deductions. As long as people recognize you’re doing this for entertainment, and you’re not a real expert, it’s all good. One bit of advice though, you seem really sensitive to criticism, but hand it out like candy on Halloween, so might want to take, as good as you give, just to maintain balance! 😁 Keep the videos coming, your interpretation of how things should be on EB Mustangs is a hoot!

Fair enough. Let me ask you, would you find my content more appealing if I stopped making oppositional content like this video and make videos that are more focused on my quirky personality and haphazard projects? Instead of trying to be a driving source of information for the platform, I would become more of a chaotic neutral. Focusing on the results of my ideas without extending the notion that it's correct or informal or incorrect? Basically, I would become my own version of Cleetus McFarland for Ecoboost Mustangs?
