A pizza that is falling apart is always a bad sign... also too massive toppings on a pizza. More simple way: if you cant eat pizza with your hands its bad (without stuff dropping or using fork/knife) :D Personally the toppings seemed bad there and the crunch should not get destroyed that easily as well by your fingers. Maybe just hyped / trending restaurant for being "World's Best Pizza".

Interesting hot take! 😄 appreciate your thoughts! I will say from my experience the freshly baked artisanal pizzas in Italy are so hot that they fall apart and it’s common to eat with fork and knife (of what I saw). I believe Bianco wanted to bring this type of pizza to the US which is what made it so unique. There are many artisanal style pizzas here now since he brought it over here, so while I don’t think Pizzeria Bianco is one of its kind (and yes I’m sure it’s gotten more hyped after Netflix and being listed on the Michelin Guide) but I can see how it was once considered the best. It’s one of the best I’ve had in Los Angeles for sure.
