60 Free Throw was def good enough in previous years but they made free throws a lot less forgiving this year. I put 71 for the Bronze Free Points and I don't green every single free throw anymore even though I've been using the same free throw animation for almost a decade

60 will get the job done in most cases, that’s why I opt for it on most of my builds, but if you can afford 81-85 I’d say it’s worth it.

I rock with an 80 FT, but I shoot at 70+% ft, and I always ask who got what ft when it's needed. I'm always down to go to the line, but if someone got 90+ they can have it. To many times I've lost in situations like this because bigs (not all u), like to try get free points last few seconds.

Can they complain about that? Hell yes they can 😂 it's randoms they will find the smallest thing to complain about

That being 17% when that was a hand down man down is crazy. At the ABSOLUTE MOST it should’ve been 5% just because you shot it in a pocket but really that’s open/wide open

I agree that having a high free throw is important but I have seen high free throw builds miss 90% so it really user timing in my opinion

that rarely happens. user timing doesnt matter if you have a low ft rating you are bricking.

It’s user timing but there’s also some RNG. But the lower your free throw, you’re throwing off your rng.

My free throw is a 95 but when I hold down the button for one second is says very late I don’t understand

NGL that jamal murray is so BS because you can't react to it like actual defense is played you have to play this guessing game on defense because the defensive latency sliding is so bad and slow (fast feet is trash BTW) I have the dual sense edge for PS5 and I can adjust the sensitivity of the thumbsticks like I do for COD and its still bad. But eveb if you anticipate the move in launches the Mfer damn near 6 feet away from you ( a move I have never seen jamal murray do IRL or anybody really lol.. I get so sick of seeing it.

If you get stunned it’s different, but dudes gotta know what’s coming by now and play it accordingly. I’ve seen people just go the wrong way over and over again. One time is fine, but pick up on tendencies.

Free throw 81 still not consistent

Yo your game winner should of been wide open or at least open but 2k wants to reward these mf's for playing no defense instead. They said they took out ghost contest this year but the contest system needs a overhaul as a whole in 2k25 because as of right now, that shit makes no sense.

Depending on what build I’m on, I usually only have 67 or 71 free throw. Plus I mainly play in the park/ theater. Need the ability to do everything else. Dribble, shoot, post up, finish at the rim, defend perimeter AND in the paint, steal, and block, maybe grab a rebound, AND be fast and strong enough guard 1-5.
