Nice. Making download tasks for everything was a clever time saver, that's even easier than making a switch/button task (which was what I was expecting to be easiest)

Hey! Just found this video and your channel, I’m super glad I did. You’re a funny content creator and I have some suggestions I think can help improve your content: 1. Do some sort of final showcase before ending the video, you talk about all of the Mechanics independently but don’t show them working all together. I think this is especially true in the Moon Kingdom and the portal video. Your videos feel like a roller coaster that buildings up to something but never quite delivers. Throw on the cinematic bars, the intense music and show off what you created. I do find the abrupt ending funny but I think you could still do it after some form of total showcase. 2. Have some sort of other project you reference or at least reference back to older videos. This causes viewers to want to seek out those other videos to see what they miss or what they could have. Dani does this super well with the game he’s working on. Each one of his videos creates a feedback loop towards that project and helps it become bigger. 3. Try to do additional things to keep switching up content and more importantly, expectations. Making Among Us 8-bit could be interesting, especially if you added in some form of basic AI. You could pitch it as “I made Among Us for people without friends”. You could try to do a mashup with another genre and do “I made among us but it’s a battle royal” where everyone is an imposter and you have to deal with the kill cool down and a shrinking play area. You have a lot of cool stuff you could do in the future, or still could (you still got 12 hours you know). 4. I enjoy the fact you’re adding in some audience participation, maybe play into that more and have people on your discord create art for your games or do a video that’s like “my discord server made a game”. This is a good way to interact with your community and encourages future viewers to become interactive as well. 5. In terms of general polish, try adding a little more animation to your game. For example, scale the character to make it go into the vent or causing the character to shoot blood out during a kill. These are small things that make the game feel a lot better. 6. Maybe put the games on itch.io or somewhere else for people to play them. I know with copyright you would have some issues, but then you could do a video rebranding or reskinning the game. There’s a famous Mario game that combines Mario and portals that exists and to my knowledge hasn’t been taken down. It’s a thin line, but you can probably do it. You can take or leave any of my suggestions. I’m subscribing regardless. I wish you the best of luck with your channel!

Wow, this is actually a lot helpful feedback, so thanks a lot! 1. Yeah, I agree that some form of showcase may be better. I was planning on doing one at the end of my next video. For some of my past videos I thought that a showcase wouldn't be very exciting to watch because there's not a whole lot of gameplay, just some mechanics. 2. Calling back to previous videos is something I should probably be doing, but I don't really want to force it in the viewer's face. Idk I feel like forcing a reference to another one of my videos that is unrelated doesn't really fit in a video that well, but maybe I can try something. 3. I like switching up content. It helps me want to work on other projects. I don't really like working on the same thing for too long lol 4. I think audience participation is really cool. I have ideas for future videos that involve the audience that I eventually want to try out. 5. Yeah true, I tend to overlook small things. 6. I know other youtube game devs have put similar kinds of projects on itch.io, but like you said there is a potential for problems with copyright, and that's not a risk I'm willing to take. If there is any game that I make entirely myself, then I would make an itch account or something and share it.

Maybe one day instead you can have the whole ship in 2d and when you press the up arrow key on a door it goes to the next area, and then when it’s sabotaged it will make a noise signifying that it’s shut. Just a thought though since I have 0 idea how to make games 😅

Well i think it would be better if you chose one 8bit console or computer and tried to(to some extent) make game with limitation of those machines, like fitting whole game into x Mb of memory or fit all graphics into 8KB("graphic memory" of NES cartridge), using only chars (those have size of 8 so same as numbers 8 bit processors generally worked with) etc. but using modern Engine your familiar with (in this case Unity if i'm not mistaken),obviously rules should be adjusted to engine since probably blank Unity project after compilation would take more space than whole NES cartridge but i hope you get a point, i think it would be more interesting PS. it is still entertaining to watch but with that kind of challenge i think it would be better.
