I'm copying and pasting my comment because you guys are exhausting: As a longtime anime fan, these comments are why I hate the community so much sometimes. It's always so freaking toxic. Whether it's sub/dub arguments, the "I hate this character/anime so you don't get to like it in peace around me and oh I'm sending death threats to the manga artist" arguments, the "well the character is good so the bad stuff the VA did doesn't count or is all lies" arguments, the "I'm gonna send death threats to the harmless VA because their character is evil" arguments, and all that, and crap like this. Some people literally have no respect and have no understanding of what art is. Art can be anything, it’s creativity and not every art have to look perfect.
Yes the iconic small nose and mouth and giant eyes
the nose, and the lips aren't that small in anime characters, but the outline is only partially drawn. If you drew the entire nose it would look creepy

Tbh you right, it's not drawing, it's stretching part and pieces, drawing (usually) requires a sketch, lining, base color, shading, highlights, background, etc. etc.

you barely drew anything, drawing someone in an anime style means taking their most prominent features like eye shape, mouth shape, nose shape, face shape and hair and simplifying them to create a cartoon character that looks like you, you can’t just ignore your eye shape or jawline and mash it into a cookie cutter template or it won’t look like you
