I remember entering a bread bakery thing when I was 7 because my friend’s dad worked in one and omg. The smell of freshly baked bread… God. I’ll never forget it, it was amazing and I love it Not only that but eating the bread as soon as it was finished was AMAZING

Hi Lauren! I am a Jewish viewer of yours, Matzos is usually eaten with butter. The reason that matzos isn’t for Passover is because it does have yeast in it. Normal Matzos for Passover doesn’t, because during Passover the only “bread” we eat is Matzos. Hopes this helps!

This is the story of the ✨rubbers✨ So basically we started off with three rubbers: Toast💗 Monster💙 and Butter💙 Toast was American and really kind, Monster was very shy and was the complete opposite of his name and Butter was always in a bad mood. Monster wasn’t aloud to eat normal bread because of Toast so he ate pumpernickel bread. Unfortunately he got kidnapped and was never seen again, Toast later had a child with Pickle and we named her Pumpernickel after Monster

I love this. Actually, bread snack is more common than you think. Mother told me that in Paris they actually buy baguettes and walk eating them. Some rub garlic in the baguette to make garlic bread. Baguette is one of my favorite bread. I love the more "crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside" type of bread, those are on my top list!

In France we also eat "flute" it's better as a snack when it comes to bread and it's very crunchy, but.. yeah when it comes to bread in general, baguette is alwas way to go ^^ especially the rustic ones (they are bit more expensive but has stonger flavour).

4:11 yes it is with grilled cheese but my school serves wheat bread for every thing including grilled cheese and it is horrible not involved but my school when they cook the grilled cheese they way over cook them and if you don't like crust you will literally loose half your grilled cheese. Literally I was eating it one day and I don't eat the crust so I was taking it of and I had like 6 bites left, and my friend knocked on it and from like 5 seats down I heard it that is how hard and over cooked my school grilled cheese is. @Scottish Lassie I usually get schar ciabatta rolls, but Warburtons have just released gluten free soft brioche rolls, and they're not dry. Where I live you don't get gluten free bakery bread in any Tesco I've been to in the Highlands, and I've not come across it in Edinburgh or Glasgow either

@@aubreygrace3337 I just wish Schar breads and rolls were bigger 😩 There's a gluten free brand here called Jovivi that uses milk and lactose as a substitute for gluten. I'm not used to bread having milk in it, so I was really glad I double checked the ingredients because I can't have dairy either. Having to check everything I buy, even when it's with other free from foods is such a pain

So happy as a Jew that you tasted challah! Homemade challah is amazing and I believe it tasted better with soft butter over hard butter! Also as far as matzah goes the reason it’s not kosher for Passover is because of the salt. Matzah has multiple uses. You have to get creative around Passover such as making sandwiches, pizza, matzah brei which is similar to French toast, just straight up putting soft butter on it, etc. Love your videos. As a fellow jew, this is exactly what I was thinking. Also putting honey on challah and putting cream cheese on matzah tastes amazing!

I tried some brioche with Nutella and Lucky charm marshmallows on it, and it was heaven

‘Biscuits’ are scones in Australia 😂 Probably england too! We just have a variety of sweet flavours and the savoury ones you guy have aren’t common but we do have them! Gotta be honest I don’t like the idea of scones with gravy, but the sweet ones we put lemonade in are so good with whipped cream and jam😋

i must say my dad has made homemade sourdough bread multiple times (gluten free though because I have an allergy) and it’s delicious, it wasn’t sour at all

There are different sour dough yeasts from different places. The one from Paris is much less sour then the San Francisco type

The reason the matzoh wand tops her for Passover is probably because the ingredients, water and flour, were mixed for longer than 18 minutes before they went into the oven. If more than 18 minutes pass after the flour and water touch before they go into the oven then it is not good for Passover.

I feel like bread tastes differently when it's warmed up or toasted. I love sourdough but only when it's toasted and/or used as the bread for a sandwich. There's something about the taste that adds flavor to it. Plus white bread only tastes better when toasted too lol

I love the soft pretzels I get at Iga becuz its soft and also feels like a pillow

Great video. You should really visit New Jersey and get some good bagels and fresh Jewish rye bread. Also some good pulla bread.
