My home sweet home 😍 Go to Lailai & Pia Mangkok to get many kind of Malang's food souvenirs.. Try tempe chips, fruit chips, ledre, etc...all veggie 👍 Malang's dessert drink like tahwa, ronde & angsle are veggie as well 👍 Bakso, rawon, tahu campur, tahu telor, soto, also the best food in Malang, but they're not a veggie food 😁

I dont know if you already search on google maps and it was close or something but there's some vegetarian place around that area. And You probably know this since its your 3rd time here but you can just find a warung or depot or warteg. They serve a variety of Indonesian dish which a lot of it are very vegetarian friendly

Ahimsa is a vegan-resto in Malang, but you should meet Bakpo Telo (casava) in Batu, dish bakso telo, burger telo, bakpau telo a such choclate etc

Lagian orang Malang mah perginya ke Repoeblik Telo. Ahimsa juga adanya emang di Surabaya itupun udah tutup. Kalo resto vegetarian yg masih buka di Surabaya andalannya ya Loving Hut

Hi Aylin! I really want to ask about this. Did you feel safe walking around by yourself in Malang? How was it? Did people stare at you while you were walking? I've been to Malang so many times but I've never been there alone and I really want to try solo travel to Malang. There are some places that I want to visit by walking instead of motorcycling. I chose Malang bcs it's a familiar city and pretty close to Surabaya (my hometown). But still.. I'm a little bit hesitant to hop on a train and explore Malang by myself :')

halo, saya orang malang. di malang banyak bule sekarang, baik pria maupun wanita dan mereka semua jalan sendirian. aman kok, saya sering lihat mereka jalan jalan jam 2 dinihari juga. gatau ngapain wkwk. menurut saya yang imigran malang (dari blitar sich) aman kok disini kak,, orang orang nggak gitu peduli krn sudah banyak pelancong. tapi ya jangan jalan2 dinihari aja sih (ngapain jg wkkw)

Nah, you don’t know anything about that place 🤣 It IS a pricey noodle place in Malang. The price is clearly stated on the menu, so there’s no bule price whatsoever. I’m a local and locals don’t really go to that place. It’s a suggested place when you search for one in Google, but ask any locals and they won’t even recommend you to go there. There are many other places with the same price point or even cheaper which are way better.
