Relatable. I didn't watch speedruns, but I remember picking up the game in a store and hearing youtubers say good things about it, but I was confused by literally everything, so I just stopped playing it. Minecraft was 20x times easier for me to understand

purplehairguys experience is like mine. you just do your thing while your buddy goes "OH MY GOD I FOUND SUCH AMAZING STUFF OMG" every 30 seconds lol.

everyone was targeting you because you had the hero shield (it gives you a TON of defense but you draw way more aggro)

And I had originally thought normal speed runs were hard. This was way more stressful :P

Moon Lord wouldn't leave you alone because you had a Hero Shield equipped. It increases your aggro stat, making bosses target you more often, as a tradeoff to its insane defense.

Watching you play made me return to playing terraria again. Thanks for being awesome!

@rDude3000 I never said the weapon was good i just pointed out the fact that had he been more knowledgeable about more of the game besides speedrunning it (no hate and i know his videos are all about speedruns) he would have been like "Whoa thats a super rare weapon, but we don't need it for the speedrun" i just was pointing it out, but ofc you have the youtube comment karens who twist what you said.

This is random but I still have wings called “reds wings” which I got from a hacked world as a kid, used to give infinite flight and were quick, sadly got patched so they’re just normal now

I think the reason moonlord was targeting you is because you have the hero shield equipped which makes enemies more likely to target you.

the altar is disabled until plantera is defeated, and regardless, theres a way to get into the temple early with a glitch known as hoiking, that only requires a hammer and 3 platforms.

He had the Hero's Shield, which has a really high defense but increases how often enemies target you. Hope this helped! :)
