Need more of this. People who know nothing about guns to overcome their misconceptions and irrational fears, seek some coaching and just try it. You'll love it. Kize is a cutey. I enjoyed watching her shoot.
Love this. You may get some hate but as Americans, this should be a Parr of schooling. Not the combat class part but the basics of firearm safety and use. There are so many misconceptions about firearms and I will be the first to admit, they're not for everyone but just like a fire extinguisher, everyone should understand how they work. Awesome vid!
As a firearm enthusiast, I loved this video.
next, please work on trying the big bad scary ar-15 that everyone so worry about as first timer shooter please.
Great having you!
That physical stuff before the shooting was interesting to me. Faster heart rate and breathing are always factors in accuracy so making people run before they shoot reveals those that are calm under pressure vs. the ones with too much adrenaline and no way to effectively control it.

Not even adrenaline, just the overall endurance. If your heart is beating out of your chest no matter how calm you are your shooting position is gonna be unstable. What helps is cardio so that your heartrate doesn't skyrocket as soon as you take a step forward
Kize, firearms instructor here. A bit of feedback: The fact that you already exercise and are in shape enough to spend all day running the drills is excellent. That is literally the best quality to have for learning guns. The biggest challenge for nonsworn CCWs is getting them on a competent workout program. The more in shape you are, the better you will run a gun. You have already completed the most important step, which is great. Another thing you did right was not rushing it. That's a common newbie mistake. Remember: Fast is slow. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. The legendary gunfighter Wyatt Earp even said he was never the fastest, he was the most deliberate. You're doing a great job soaking up what you learn, the thing to work on is redundancy like the instructor said. The only people who suck with guns are the ones who do not have the patience to learn the proper technique. Repetitive practice such as dry fire is the key to learning the fundamentals of shooting.

As a firearms instructor would you ever have a brand new shooter registering a loaded Glock in and appendix carry inside the waist band holster??? Yeah, me neither!

@@veiledallegory AIWB is one of the best ways to carry, the people who think otherwise are boomerfudds. It's one of the fastest, most unimpeded draws which works with the natural movement of most peoples' bodies. And she spent a bunch of time learning the shooting fundamentals before drawing from the holster. Try harder, Mr. High Speed Low Testosterone Keyboard Warrior.

@@veiledallegory Everybody who carries a gun has carried it for the first time once and most of them are still alive. As long as you follow the rules you can carry it in your ass crack perfectly safely. It's the instructor's job to teach people how to do so and it's really not that hard to do. Safety on if you have it and finger off the trigger, look where you're waving your gun so it doesn't catch your shirt or belt and you're all set

"Nonsworn CCWs"? Like Sheriffs? And Sheriff's Deputies? What do you mean by nonsworn? Does that include standard police officers who shoot blindly into a residence just because other police on scene are shooting at something? Are they "sworn"? Because, if so, being "sworn" does not seem to help in responsible firearm use.

I always feel shooting is one of those things most people believe to be easy. I mean, I've never shot an actual gun but I can only imagine. The sound, the shock of it, the adrenaline, the recoil. Well done and very entertaining!

As a shooter, I can confirm - pointing and pulling the trigger is the easiest thing in the world; aiming and staying on target throughout the trigger pull is way harder, especially with a pistol.

It's a little challenging at first, you have to adjust yourself to the gun, but, eventually, everything just *clicks*, and I've seen it happen countless times with those that I've taught. The firearm just becomes an extension of you, you start to bend it to your will, and you no longer have to adjust yourself to the gun. At that point, you can pick up just about any firearm and be proficient with it. This is where people tend to start focusing on learning more nuanced things like tactical movements, etc. TLDR; it's weird and clunky at first but eventually it becomes second nature.
I really appreciate the variety and range of activities and parts of life and society you push yourself to. Really entertaining, surprisingly informative, and generally inspiring.
We need a full 30 minute video of this
You did that in a day!! You are a natural shooter. I now people who have been “shooting for years” and could not do as good as you just did
You did amazing! Truly an example of what a dedicated, talented person with a great instructor can achieve is such a short time.
That's awesome! Glad to have hopefully another member hooked 😁 one of the only hobbies that can save your life :P
Good job, seriously. I’ve been shooting my whole life and the first time I went out with and set up a pistol course, I was terrified.
Challenge: try learning a few parkour/gymnastics tricks! I think it'll be awesome
This is the first video of yours that I've seen. I could tell immediately that you would do well because of the tone that you speak in and how you carry yourself. These demonstrate that you are confident in yourself, you have had many accomplishments already (the only way to gain self-confidence), you are not afraid to jump into something new because you like the challenge, and you are fit based on the way you move. Congratulations for doing so well. I progressed faster than a lot of people would have. I like to see these kinds of videos showing people challenging themselves and going for it.
You're so underrated I love all of your videos and the work you put in them, it's amazing!!! Ilysm keep the grind!!
25 years ago, at a dinner, family had a foreign exchange student from Japan. She had never seen a firearm. She didn't get to shoot, but she did get to have every firearm in the place, placed on her person....she had 6-7 handguns, 4-5 long rifles, couple shot guns, all on her person, was so funny. Pictures where taken, She was all smiles and laughter, as where everyone else.
You did amazing 🙂 and you gotta love those Red Dot Optics, even makes a beginner a sharpshooter in no time.
I took a private class with Bernardo with during a Krav Maga class I used to attend . Very professional and safety conscious. He taught us to run with our arm bent in a 90-degree angle with finger off the trigger and the pistol pointing straight up. And not to lower the pistol until presenting yourself at the target. We were running in pairs. I'm surprised not to see this in this video.
I love you videos. The way you spread the message that you can do anything you set your mind to is just perfect.❤
I can see you're all in.
❤😮 I’m literally training with Bernardo today! This video is incredible, and I love what you’re doing.
Damn if this was your first day shooting this is really incredible kudos to being a good learner and to Bernardo his instruction was great
Great video, great challenge, and great shooting . Would love to see more firearm challenges. Keep it up. Stay safe and God Bless.
This was great to watch! This was a lot of information thrown at you in one day. And you picked it up a lot faster than most people would. Shooting isn’t easy. Good job
wow! didn't know how physically demanding shooting a gun could be! You got that stability in the hands down cold 🔫
Great work. Good video. You had the right mindset to learn.
Very nice work. Thanks for sharing!
Kudos to you! You did great. Very difficult to grasp all of that in such a short period of time.
For someone who has never shot before, you did great!
Amazing job . Takes alot of courage and natural skill to do what you did here
Love Tactical Fitness Austin!
That was super awesome. Proud of your Kize!

Well done!!!
That didn’t look like a rookie, she has good form and coordination. Must have an athletic background.
Nice job!!
Awesome!!! If you never fired a gun you went through that training excellent for the first time!
The first time you realize you are trying to drink from a firehose is always an "oh shit" moment. I bet @Kize keeps going, gun training can be addictive. Ask me, three time Gunsite and two time Thunder Ranch grad, how I know. :)
Dude is wearing a Buc-ees hoody, love it, sooooo Texas

Way to go. Just by this video, you might want to tuck your right elbow just a bit when drawing. But I’m amazed with your last practice run - 3:37 onwards. 👍👍👍

Just come across this video. Good job young lady. I am now a subscriber. You have very good English. Are you born in the US or are you just that good at a second language?

awesome!! :)
You did a fantastic job on the range.
Good job. With that shot, if there is an intruder in your house. You can defend your family. And you will continue to practice, you will be way better. I always told my wife, you don't need to be john wick.lols. You just need to be very accurate on your shot, esp your first 3 shots.
Ha ha nice. Damn good for first time
Why is it so fucking hard for people to not give the thumbs up while shooting? I've never got that habit.
There’s a woman named Michele khare and she does the exact same thing your doing maybe you can take some inspiration from her videos to upgrade, but the vid was interesting keep up the great work
That thumbnail is literally an action movie poster 🔥

Good going just keep that thumb off of the slide
You trained in Krav Maga and shooting guns? I think you're a lethal weapon already.
Always enjoyable to see someone learn to shoot- I wish you had left out the "only person that looks like me" comment. Those men are totally unconcerned with your race, and were happy to see you at the range learning to shoot. This is Texas (although Austin *is* different from the rest of Texas)- we don't do racism.

@@KizeBae I’m sure they didn’t care. These are my people- we are unconcerned by these things, so why would it matter? Hang around Texas awhile, and you’ll find that in most places everyone is treated the same way- with helpfulness and good manners. Except for identical twins, pretty much everybody is “the only one who looks me” wherever they go.
