Did you ever read "Vagabond" or "The climber"? Both are absolutely peak fiction. Both are having with berserk the best drawing in fiction. I would very strongly recommend you to read the climber and Vagabond. Side note: Until volum 3 is the climber a mid sport manga but then after the story write left and the drawer was alone had he turned a mid story into the best written story i've ever read

It could be we have similar tastes so I'll also recommend you a manga that you should read, especially if you're into martial arts and that is Holyland. It is finished and the author is the guy who is currently continuing Berserk, Miura's best friend Kouji Mori. After that you could also watch the boxing anime Hajime No Ippo. If I'm not wrong about your taste you'll love both.
