YOU and Others kept this sport/entertainment alive till today. I got both types of skates. To maintain nearly same speed of inline on roller one, i push harder, burn more calorie. Everyday. Fitness and a mean of transportation to work. Since I get used to push that hard, then I switch to inline and do same push same power output…. I am gliding, literally gliding. So roller one does make us go slower but with commitment, we can turn it into serious workout and improvement. Edit: i did have an idea to install inline wheels on roller’s axles, but they didnot fit well because of wider dimensions. I have seen Hongkong roller skaters did it but I am thinking about trade-off between risk/reward.

If you let me have the wheels i will send you fun clips of me falling over in the dark whilst skating in an old train tunnel.

I started skating at age 52 and I am 54 and I probably going to continue skating , I skate mostly Indoor but I love skating outdoors more and I live in the US and it gets dark earlier so it would help me to have light up wheels I would skate outside after work more often . And why I skate you may ask ...because it is fun !😊

Quads or inlines? If quads, how do your toe stops work for you or do you use another method for stopping? Thanks

I would love the red ones! To test them on the roads of Cape Town 🤣 I usually stick to inline when I am skating on the road but I like the idea of taking the quads to a night skate.

I never skate distance because the ramps are so much fun… but with those big sparkly wheels I can take my skates to the streets of Hamburg and give it a go🙌

Hello Ricardo, great video this is something I’ve been debating recently as a quad skater to make the switch. I believe these wheels would be put to good use if I received them, and they would allow me to be able to skate at all hours and look way cooler when doing so lol. I also would like to have a set of new wheels because they can be pricey especially for someone three years into their skate journey and who is always wanting to try new things. Hi Ricardo, I was showing the Chet Faker music video to my friends and it looked like so much fun I decided I want to get back into skating for the first time since childhood. So I’ve been binging roller skating videos on KZread since the weekend.

My son would love thoes blue ones on his quads! I just lost my job and am recovering from a dislocated shoulder. The 30th he dropped in on his new mesmers for theb1st time and during my celebration lap there shortly after I hurt my shoulder. Out of work for 6-8 weeks with no pay...

Great video! I’d love to get a set of the wheels for my quads. I always make an excuse to not skate everyday because I get out of work late and it’s dark by the time I get out of work. A set of these light ups wheels would be AWSOME. Question do you know if the LEDS are white and what ever the wheel color is thats the color it glows? I’d like to get a white set to dye them purple!

I've been rollerskating for 2 years and I'm planning on joining the Wednesday night skate for the first time ever this year. I would love the blue ones to pair with my holographic impala's, because a girl's got to look cute while skating. 🤞🏾

I have a really hard time to brake with inline skates as I am not so good keeping my balance which is required for stuff like the t- stop or even using the attached stopper. I could never use these in more urban areas. I tend to thinks quads are much better for that, I am mistaken? Just ordered some quad and will see for myself.^^

I always thought quads were too impractical as a mode of transportation and could only be enjoyed on smooth flat surfaces. But I envy the feeling of freedom and maneuverability I see rollerskaters have, which I can't do on 3x100s. If you give me wheels, I'll get a pair of rollerskates!

Hi Lino. I just would love to give some led wheels to my girlfriend who is a quad skater, I'm more into inline. I enjoy customizing her quads.

Any set of those wheels would be good for my sister. She is 49 and bought a pair of roller skates to relive her youth but had a bad fall. Thise wheels would make her try again.

As a beginner skater that lives alongside a mountain range, I definitely prefer quad skates for commuting. The toe stops give a better sense of safety for going down hills, specially on narrow streets or sidewalks.

I would choose the Red Wheels because it would be the perfect gift for a friend who lost a bit of motivation quadskating in the last Months. Maybe that would spark up her Motivation again :)

If I got the red wheels I would put them to good use cruising the NJ Boarwalks at night with my barbie chaya skates :]]. Right now I only have the small hard park wheels which are fun for ramps but not for cruising lol

i recently bought a pair of inline skates and used them for the first time today. I busted my ass 3 times while the people around me laughed. I took my skates off and went home.

was the video about wheels or quads vs inline ? i mean you can find wheels with light in both variations. In my humble opinion quads feel chunky and old in terms of street skating, in fact, they where invented one century earlier, and they havent developed as far as inlines have.

I prefer quads in the wet weahther.

I use LED wheels on 7 setups. Hydrogen wheels on one setup, here are some myths people might believe: 1) LED wheels work with friction: False, the inner magnet spacer doesn't touch the outer metal on the wheels. They run pretty close to each other, and they work by induction. 2) LED wheels are slower: I honestly don't feel any difference. Free spin doesn't define how fast they are. 3) LED wheels chunk or urethane is worse: False. I have LED wheels from cheap Chinese 90A ones to Luminous, MoonBeams, LazerWHeelz. They all work just fine, don't chunk out and wear down as the hydrogen wheels. Maybe in the past they were worse, but modern LED wheels are just as good. About the comment about stones and wheelbase. I believe Inline wheels do a better job because they shoot stones to the left or right on contact. You can hear stones whistling in the air (just like a ricocheting bullet) sometimes. Quad wheels, just like skateboard wheels can get stuck with a stone because of the wheel shape.

As always, great video. I would really appreciate if I win the set of blue wheels because in Mexico, where I'm from (and live) is hard (and really expensive) to get good quality, specialized products. A friend of mine loves his quads (I skate with in-line skates) but we haven't been able to go skate because he damaged his set of wheels and he hasn't have the money to get a new set. Distance on quads sounds like a nightmare. Quads are for roller rinks and wack looking tricks haha
