Dreads = Free formed / unmaintained hair Dreadlocks = maintained locked hair Locs = synthetic locked hair / like (faux locs) So I use ‘dreadlocks’ to describe my hair during these videos because people relate faster to the word since it’s familiar already💯. Trust me , I don’t dread my hair💪🏽
