Came here to say the same thing. Long nails is a freaking lifestyle... Kylie is already used to them. You don't have a newborn then decide, "Poof, I'm gonna add some long nails into the mix.." No. Just... no. lol

Very accurate comment. Having raised 7 children (our 5 and 2 foster children) having very long nails my whole life, this is probably one of the most ignorant videos I've ever seen. I mentored parents and taught parenting classes. Long nails never were an issue. Setting this example of judging and criticizing others is one of the biggest parenting fails one makes though, and we see the effects in kids who see Mom, or Dad, who do that.

I love how at the end you talk about how it makes you feel more human, and how dying your hair blue made you feel more human after becoming a mom. I'm a first time mom of a two year old. I was thinking of dying my hair blue or green and I immediately got so much push back from my family saying I'm a mom now and I'm too old for that (mind you I'm only 25). It has totally crushed me and made me rethink doing something for myself that I wanted, but you are right. It's something to make me feel more myself, more human. Becoming a mom I lost a huge sense of self and it's a struggle trying to get that back.

You’re also your own person, people are always going to judge you no matter what you do, might as well do it looking good 😉 don’t worry about what other people say to you, as long as your baby has everything it needs and you’re happy then there’s no reason people should chime in negatively

When you’re use to having long nails, adjusting to having a baby with long nails is no problem 💁🏽‍♀️I’ve had long nails, short nails, no nails while parenting and mastered it with all the lengths. What works for some might not work for all, no need to mom shame 🤷🏽‍♀️ UPDATE: For the people who are concerned about the “No nails,” comment. I meant no nail tips/ no acrylic nails. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Not that I didn’t have any nails 🙄 Moving on........

I've had long nails most of my life, and when I needed short ones for netball, I found it so hard to do literally anything. Because when u have long nail, you adapt how you do things. I couldn't even hold a pen the same as before. Plus, having short nails I'd such a bizarre feeling, like the tips of your fingers are really sensitive. Also, my nails got so much dirtier when they were short because I couldn't clean them the way I used to - with another long nail.

"All the parenting work" isn't hers to do by herself to begin with, her daughter has a father, you know. And if she has nannies, so what? She's a working mom with multiple businesses to run, and the vast majority of parents with demanding jobs have some kind of paid childcare. Anyone giving Travis sh*t for relying on childcare when he's working in his studio or scheduled for a performance somewhere? NO, he gets a pass for damn near everything. How is that fair?

I think that you trying to do this without being used to have long nails is definitely so much harder. Kylie 100% has nannies BUT she has long nails and has had them for so long that for her, it's normal and she can do everything normally I also have long nails and have them done every month for years. So when I'm babysitting my little 3 month cousin it's doesn't bother me. And if you're complaining about zippers and snap bottons, try closing small bottons that's when it's going to test your paciente

I had long nails like this almost the entire time my baby was a newborn, it’s really all just about learning how to do things in your own fabulous long nail way 💖

For everyone saying “Kylie is used to it” and “it’s a learning curve” it’s funny to think about completely adapting the way you do day to day things to accommodate long nails...long, plastic nails. Humans are weird. 😂

So weird😂...kylie is obviously not used to it. It's not practical at all!!! She is clearly not the one who dresses stormi or changes her diapers..I mean come on

Kristen Culbreth Idk wats weird for me nails make me feel better my hands look better and moms usually have no time to take care of their beauty so nails r a lil thing that can make up for some of that. It’s not hard at after literally 3 days, ur hands feel pretty and they make no difference in ur everyday life

I used to have short nails too from working in the food industry but the moment I started working at the front desk of a hotel, I was looking forward to the long nails. Then immediately regretted it when I couldn't button up my blouse every shift 🤣 the keyboard pecking is so relatable 😂 definitely a learning curve but it's doable. I usually go for the almond shape now instead of the coffin / ballerina cut.

🙄 for everyone who’s never worn nails before, this will always seem like a challenge. If she was wearing nails for over a month prior, her every day activities would not be that hard! Of coarse, she is gonna day it’s hard
