I’m working with monat and lemme just say, every single thing you said about the business is correct. Those are the exact reasons I’m not gonna be with the company anymore, I don’t wanna be fake and that’s the whole business, is being fake towards people to make money for yourself. The products work okayyy for me but I wanna use a different hair system because I can honestly see my curl pattern going away😭 the hair and skin definitely work for some people, but it also does not work for many too. thank you for being honest!

@@brerook Exactly, but the fact that so many people can’t accept a personal experience and opinion and are taking it personally is boggling my mind 😂 but yes, I wanted to try the products and then they were like “why not make money from it?” So I said sure, I’ll try for one month and if I don’t like the business or the products I’m done”. Im like three months in but after the first month I was honestly over it. The community of women is nice at first and so encouraging to help you and your business but a once you realize it’s their job to hype you up or to be nice it just crumbles because it’s fake. I spent wayyyy more money than I earned because I didn’t like approaching people to sell something and to bring people on my team, I barely earned 50 bucks for spending 300, and that’s after all the ladies were like “just do this and you’ll get 600 bucks”. Well that never happened LOL the products are natural but mediocre. It’s great that a lot of women are so loyal and are successful from this business but it is not for me at all.

Hey girl! I’m working with MONAT too. I started working when the pandemic hit bc I was on unemployment & needed money. But you are right though, the people who are in the business are fake & it’s frustrating. I hated how we have to cold message people about the products. I mean, if they want to try it then they’ll ask. I feel like these hair products works for other people. I’ve been using the hair products for about a year & it’s never been better. My hair was so dry before & now it’s more hydrated. & I tried their skin care products & love it. Anyways, I feel like this business shouldn’t shove the products down to their customers’ throat if they aren’t interested anymore or it doesn’t work out for them.

@@christinegeene I’m in the business too and I’ve always been told NOT to cold message. I’ve been told it’s wrong... which leads me to the next point... the opposite of cold messaging is first getting to know your clients and seeing what their needs are.... how is that being fake and hypocritical? A big part of customer service is knowing your clients and treating them right... you have to know them to be able to recommend the right products. How else are we supposed to sell our products? By being mean? I just don’t get it. You can never win with people. Mlm’s get so much hate and I find that unfair. All we’re doing is trying to sell our products which we use and truly believe in.

Yes! I heard so many things about Monat! It’s 10% science and 90% marketing and also not to mention that hair is dead cells already so there’s no need for a detox ( that’s coming from a professional hairstylist) I definitely saw an actual Monat “hun” with a bald spot on the back of her head where you were loosing hair 😮 I don’t even know if she knows that! It’s crazy I’m totally anti mlm so I’m so glad you’re speaking up about it!

So helpful to have honest opinions about such a popular brand/company. Greatful for the trasparancy about your experience!

A FEW FACTS ABOUT MONAT HAIRCARE... These products are extremely concentrated, you’re only supposed to use a dime - quarter size amount depending on the thickness and length of your hair. A lot of people who experience hair loss, are sometimes using too much product and/or not using it in the correct way. (Rinsing throughly, following steps etc) These aren’t normal products that you buy at the drug store, they are highly concentrated and need to be taken with knowledge and instruction. There are also different lines for different needs. The Super Intensive Repair line is NOT for the average consumer. It is designed for people suffering extreme hair loss caused from things like alopecia, and chemotherapy. The ingredients in that line are so extreme that if not used properly, it can cause damage to your hair strands therefore leading to breakage. The thing about Monat is that it can work for your hair if you use it properly and get the right products for your hair type. The company needs to work on informing people more about the products and their ingredients, and stop labeling them as a one size fits all. Do your research and find out what works for your hair. PS I DO NOT SELL MONAT but I love the products and they work great for me.

You are right, these products are extremely concentrated. The consultant that gave me all the Monat products spent over an hour with me on zoom explaining all that you mentioned above! I took detailed notes and before using reviewed and measured the proper amount of product that was to be applied. I was very educated! So what you are trying to imply is incorrect in my experience. I think you should sell the products with your wealth of knowledge and passion!

Very well said. I've been using Monat since Aug 2019 and my hair has never been better! I have fine hair (NOT THIN) hair and it is so much more shinier and healthier than ever (I'm 40). Pricey, yes but the concentration level of these products exceeds that- example I have the blow out cream that I bought when I initially started Monat and haven't had to repurchase it yet as I can now also go 3 days without a washing but previously washed everyday.

Thank you for an honest review! Everyone is different and has different experiences and they have the right to speak up!

I’m so happy I found your video/channel. I’ve been transitioning my hair since 2017 because of all the heat and damaging products to straighten my hair. In the year 2018 my hair was starting to get its curl pattern back, and it was so thick. I was happy with my progress after using the same stuff I was using and I had no issues. Products I used were: (Shea moisture, curlsmith..ect and I’m still using them today with no issues) In the year 2020 a girl dm’d me about this “opportunity”. It took me a whole year to say yes to her, after her saying the products would be great for me because a lot of curly haired women use them. I started using the products in March of 2021, I used the products for 6 months. I wash my hair once or twice a week, I started noticing my hair being pulled from the roots after 2-3 months and I though that was weird because I have thick, strong hair. I’ve also been told by hair stylists that my hair is really strong. So I asked the girl that recruited me, and she said it’s going through a “detox” phase that possibly could take 30-90 days to get rid of all the products you’ve been using (just to keep in mind, I’ve tried to be careful with what I put in my hair, it’s like a trial and error thing. & I’ve watched some curly hair KZreadrs’ for years like Manes By Mel, and Jayme Jo so what they used on their hair has worked for me because we have similar hair textures. So most of the products I’ve used to transition my hair have helped and has not given me issues in the past). I though it was normal, so I just started using it for 3 more months, and my hair was still falling out in clumps. I was scared, so I sent the girl a picture of the clumps of hair that were pulled from the roots of my scalp and she told me “maybe you’re using too much of the shampoo”, and I said I’m pretty good with direction and I use a “dime size” amount every time I wash it once a week and I wasn’t using anything else but monat products for 6 months. I used the Renew Shampoo and Another monat conditioner, and after that I used the curl cream. The curl cream smelled nice, but to be honest it’s kind of difficult to tell which of the monat products was causing my hair issues. The shampoo did dry my hair out so the conditioner I used helped with the flakes. But one or more of those products caused me hair loss. Then she says i may need a different system, a hydrating system. Mind you the woman that recruited me has straight-wavy hair so she may not understand what my curls need so she sent me videos of curly haired women’s experiences, I know she means well but it wasn’t helping me 😢 I just kept giving it a try, to what extent? Until I go bald? Long story short, I wish nothing bad for anyone, not even the company. Im sure it has helped some people with their hair care journey, but I wish they wouldn’t hype it up to an extreme. Because not everything works for other people. I’m just bummed that after many months of using it, and not really given the right information, I had to go do research myself. my hair started thinning out, and it came out in clumps so I thought I was sick, and I rarely ever get sick 😢 So after months of using it I decided to switch it back to my regular hair products that I used before monat. Its the best decision I made for myself and my hair. Im a small KZread/IG creator And lot of people in my community look up to me for curly hair videos, and I don’t want this to happen to anyone, so I wanted to share my experience. I feel like everyone’s hair is unique and some products may work for others but not you. Omg! Thank you for making this video, I know a lot of people selling this product, and I'm hairstylist and I've seen so many clients of mine using it and having the same issues, I've noticed the pH balance off and the color doesn't grab the same and it causes more breakage, thank you for your honesty. I have wanted to share my thoughts on this for a while and I haven't got the courage, but I love the Cady reference lol 😆, and like I said I'm a hairstylist and I sell products to most of my clients, but I have never told anyone that if they use this it will make your hair magically grow, that usually something you need to take care of internally, and these shampoos will stimulate hair growth not make it grow over night lol, but I've never heard of a detox happening.

My very close friend lost a whole bunch of money, and hair for that matter with Monat. She had actual bold spots on her head. She stopped using the products herself and being a good person, couldn’t continue selling them. She still feels extremely guilty that she sold this product to people

The “shedding” is the reason I would never use them. It’s like saying “our body wash will make you shed all layers of your skin before it heals it. But your skin will come back” uhhh and in the meantime?! 😳😳😳

Forgot to add that I also don’t support Monat because they claim to be such a “good company” with all natural ingredients and free of all these harmful chemicals and yet, you shed?! And they put them in a plastic bottle which is not only likely releasing harmful chemicals, but is also killing our planet??? No way. I would suggest researching shampoo and conditioner bars like the Ethique brand. I discovered them at the start of the pandemic. My hair was a little longer than shoulder length and now my hair is at my butt. P.S. so sorry for what happened to you 😖

I have curly hair and my hair is healthier than ever. I don’t even have split ends anymore. Our products don’t have silicones and waxes and will actually wash them off and so your true hair will be exposed. I think she probably had very damaged hair and that’s why she had breakage.

@bratz princess no, I’m not spreading anything misleading. The products are literally the best out there and people experience all sorts of different reactions at first. You have to give them a try for a while but if everyone wants to just hate on the products because they think they know what they are doing or talking about, it really hurts the girls who are trying to build businesses and help people get better haircare.

So glad you confirmed what I’ve been hearing about these products. So many people rave about it but something doesn’t sit right about Monat with me, for the simple fact that the sellers just want to make money so of course it’s “ the best product” out there.

Hi Victoria, I’ve been using Monat since January this year. I had fine thinning hair. I have to say, for me my hair is in the best health it’s ever been in. I can’t believe the difference. I’ve been a product specialist for very expensive lines of skincare, Make up and hair care at places like Saks and Neiman Marcus, for many years. Believe me I was skeptical at first. But everyone’s round has commented on the difference in my hair. I can only speak for myself and my experience. Everyone is different. Just wanted to share my experience with you.

What shampoo are you using now? That is so crazy I had the opposite effect I suffer from Alopacia and all my hair came within 6 months after using the products, my doctors said it would take 12-18 months. Also in my mid 40's and my hair is past my mid back never it this long. My husband uses the black and loves it his grey is going away or not that noticable because of the new growth. I'm just wondering if you ever had shedding again? Also the nourish line is very mositurizing so I would change your hair texture. Thank you for sharing I hope you are being completely honest and did not have some sort of fall out or disapointment. Did you try selling the product too? I'm just wondering....

Hi Bre, that's so funny I caught your video about Monat. Ahhh just in time thank you. I just met a girl on Instagram who wanted her and me to support each other's businesses which I thought was cool! We both sell skincare and hair products. To tell you the truth, I kind of didn't want to buy her products but truthfully maybe selfishly wanted her to buy mine🤭 I liked everything you had to say and we're all taking the bad experience you had, seriously, and I agree people need to be aware. I on the other hand, made sure the product company I'm with, sells excellent high quality products where I can sleep well at night knowing that I'm sharing good natural products that show real results to people. And I'm not afraid to say our products are the top in the industry because it contains the highest dead sea minerals content which is naturally therapeutic for your skin. I'm sure many will disagree with me as they are supporting other companies and that's great! So please keep in mind I don't mean to offend anyone. Just like you said Bre, there is no beating around the bush with me like a lot of people do. I used Monat for 6 months & I really wish I would have stopped sooner. I used to have the most beautiful thick hair and Monat ruined that, I’ve lost half the hair on my head, I have bald spots & a red irritated scalp. It’s really taken a toll on my self esteem, every time I look in the mirror I want to cry. I hope since I’ve stopped using it my hair will one day be back to normal....

A few people I know have been asking me to sell it and I honestly was thinking about it but decided to do some research first, thank you for this video my hair is already fragile and I would be devastated

I really appreciate what seemed like a well-prepared and thoughtful presentation regarding Monat products. I just thought I’d share that I’ve been using Monat products since about 2018. I have had the BEST luck with them. I use the super moisturizing shampoo and conditioner as well as the leave in conditioner and volumizimg mousse. I keep my eyes open for any changes and I really do appreciate your review. For what it’s worth, I’ve heard the same things you said before. But you are the first with an ACTUAL negative experience. All others have been only that they “heard” the products might be harmful. Thanks again for your thoughtful review.

As a licensed hairdresser I am very skeptical when trying hair products but as an individual even more skeptical about these marketing schemes even if "friends" are involved. I don't like to get involved in these marketing schemes. I've seen a similar scheme years ago with a vitamin company and many "friends" fell into it and got sick. Thank you for sharing your honest opinion. Your hair is beautiful!

Ugh YES! I agree with everything you said here about MLMs. Especially how those promoting the particular company try to “befriend” you first. Not only to get you to buy but to recruit as well. I’ve gotten caught up with one of these types of companies. One that is also all over Instagram. They wouldn’t leave me alone after I told them I was no longer interested😩 Thanks for sharing!!

As a Monat MP I definitely don’t think that it’s right to annoy people with the business opportunity if they’ve already clearly said they aren’t interested... however when you say that they try to “befriend” you first I can’t help but think okay.. so what are we supposed to do then... cold message people? Isn’t a large part of customer service caring for your customer and their needs? I get it, one thing is being caring and another is being overly loving and kind in order to make a sale... but all we’re trying to do as sellers is NOT cold message. The only way to do that is “following” people or “befriending” them...the only other option is cold messaging which is not the right way to sell a product!

Thank you for this video. I am new to Monat. I started with the Super Nourish Oil Cream Shampoo products, and didn't like the way my hair felt. I noticed a little of hair loss, but not much. Although, I felt that the product that was sold to me, was not the right product for me. I spoke to another Monat rep, and she mentioned that the products I'm using are not the correct ones. I decided to order the new damage repair line, that just came out in Sept 2021. OMG the first time I used it, there was so much hair shedding. Now mine you, I know we all shed hair, but the amount of hair just coming off my head was terrifying. I called my first rep, and she continue to tell me it's because my hair is going through a detox period, and that it was removing all the chemicals I have used in the past. (I will not say what I told her, because it wasn't very pleasant) For months now, I do my own DIY conditioning on my hair once a week. I use Organic Castor Oil, eggs, honey, mayo, olive oil and maybe organic coconut oil, and I have seen such a great difference on my hair, however, I still felt I needed something to give my hair more hydration, and since I have natural curly hair, I wanted to use something to make my hair feel good and not look dry. Since I only used the new line once, I am going to try it one more time, if I see the same about of hair loss, I will stop. To think I was thinking of becoming a rep for Monat. :) :) Sorry for the long message, just had to share.

I still have my VIP membership so I get my favorites every once in awhile but I stopped using EVERYTHING Monat. I used to do the whole shampoo, conditioner, masks, hair styling products, just everything and I got freaked out about the stories of hair loss so stopped for awhile. I was warned about the hair shedding concept and I remember thinking “that’s odd but alright.” Anyway - I went back to a lot of my old trusty products and now every once in awhile I’ll add some Monat to the mix for fun. But I can feel the cancellation coming… I don’t think I can keep supporting a company like this. I never thought of that Mean Girls reference, that’s a fantastic observation and really hits the nail on the head for me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Appreciate it.

Same thing happened with my hair! I was told I was going through a “detox” phase and it should go away in a couple of weeks! I have never been so stressed about my hair before. My hair is naturally thin and fine, so to shed more hair was stressing me out. I stopped using the products and it has taken a while for my hair to go back to “normal.” I have used over the counter shampoos that cost $6 and that stuff never damaged my hair or made it fall out like monat! If it works for you, great! But these girls shouldn’t be pushing these products and telling people to continue to use them, when it’s clearly making them shed more hair than normal. There is no “detox” phase 😑 Ok I’m done venting 😒 Loved your video btw.

Hi! Update: my hair is not back to what it was prior to monat. I have tried every shampoo from Prose to Nioxin, to function of Beauty, to help regrow my hair. I still feel like my hair is thinner but not as thin as when I stopped using Monat. I hope that my hair will go back to what it was, but I’m not sure. I eat pretty healthy, and take my vitamins. I have been to the doctor and everything in normal. I have also been oiling my hair pre-wash and doing rosemary hair rise. Currently I’m using Kerastase and my hair loves it! Feels clean and soft. Should have tried that shampoo in the first place over Monat! I’m being patient with my hair as I know it can take some time. Wish I never even saw Monat on my IG feed and was tempted to try it. Hope everyone’s hair is doing better! 🙏🏼

Girlllll same same same. My hair loved it at first and then SHEDDING galore. But mine started months after. I still use the products only hair ends but NOT the scalp. I even did a video about this as well lol.

I’ve been using Monat for a few weeks now and it’s been amazing. My hair is healthy shines and my scalp is totally healed from dry and flakey.

Thanks for the info. I thought it could help me to STOP shedding! Nooo thank you. I just need to find a good deep conditioner for my curls. Years ago I tried Pantene sbampoo and the same thing happened to me, my lush and thick hair started to fall out! Meanwhile my sister's hair finally became lush and thick. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Monat definitely is an MLM, which some are fine if you don't want to pay for marketing. But by them hiding that aspect makes it sound like their ashamed to be one. Own up to it. If you have a good company, and product, and are a functioning LEGAL MLM... more power to ya. Haha

Thank you for this video. I was reached out to to sell and promote this product recently. I always do research and don’t want to sell something I know nothing about. I don’t feel comfortable selling with even a small possibility for hair loss, even over a check. I was excited about the opportunity, but now am disappointed that they haven’t done anything to resolve the hair loss problem.

I definitely do agree with the business aspect being a market partner. They teach you to be very fake. I do not like or agree with that. Well said. The owners of the company themselves are very good people. But they can’t control how some market partners are teaching their teams.

I will be the odd one out here but I DO WORK for Monat I'm not hiding it, the products alone have transformed my hair for the better. I DO lose hair however, I have been losing hair for years prior to using these products, my hair loss which isn't a lot is from hormone imbalance that I have...Have I noticed I shed more hair since starting the products? No ... its the same as it has been for many years. The products just like any other products are the drug store or the most expensive ones, are going to be different for every single person. I am sorry the products did not work for you, but they are working for me and I work for Monat because I truly enjoy and love the products and I don't hide the fact that I work for them nor do I hide the fact that It is a MLM company. Just wanted to share my opinion on here :)

So I’ve been using it for a few years and have been working with them as well BUT my hair is starting to shed now and that doesn’t make sense to me so now I am doing all this research and found your KZread video and I appreciate your voice and your opinion, it’s funny I’ve been feeling like I want to do the business anymore and this is now making me want to quit all together. How do we have a leg to stand on when people are having experiences like this? It’s not ok. Thank you for your video! I now think my hair shedding is from the products. Hey I saw your comment and related to it. How is your hair now? I have used Monat exclusively for over 2 years and am experiencing a lot of hair shedding. I didn’t think it would be monat but I’m started to feel concerned that it is from monat.

I love your video and honesty! Three girls are so eager to sell me their products and get me part of Their team. One girl was so pushy she kept messaging me every day and asking about me then when I told her I needed more time and then I will let her know she never replied back to me. Are a lot of fake women in this scheme. And I knew why I was hesitant at first… i did my Research and thanks to You! Will pass on joining 👍🏼❤️

I happened upon this video whilst doing my due diligence researching the company prior to the official launch here in Australia November. I was contacted by someone overseas who has been with the company 6 years and I was very well informed about the way the company markets it's products (mlm), ethics etc. and was keen to know more, hence the research. I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. My question is though, how come on your other video postings around the time you were using the products your hair looked so amazing? I was expecting to see major damage, thinning and breakage. This video is posted early February only a short time after you finished using the products and again looks fabulous.

I literally just spent hundreds of dollars on Monat products.. & then I see this. I knew it was too good to be true.. I could cry! At least none of the products I purchased are any of the ones that you used.. I’m just trying to think positive. 😕 Thank you for sharing your experience!

I use it, and haven't had my hair fall out beyond its normal shedding. Also, loving my results. Everyone's experience is different.

Appreciate this. I had a fairly negative experience attempting to be an m.p until I found out about all the cases of hair loss... and also the "not natural" ingredients such as synthetic fragrances........... yeah.. I quit fairly quickly.

You make a great point! They market as being “naturally based” “modern natural” technically and even legally this can be true but it is deceptive to me when the products contain synthetic fragrances. You shouldn’t claim “natural” at all.

@@brerook Yeah! Like caruna shampoo is 100% organic and ... very few ingredients... and monat's had some complicated ingredients so I researched them. They debate that there's no phtlates... but when I inquired, they refused to answer me because technically the "synthetic" fragrances probably have phlates.... so... loop holes. ?

Thanks for sharing! I stay away from these companies like the plague or in this case Covid lol. My sister got talked into ordering from coworkers and automatic reorders. She had a lot of trouble stopping the auto reordering and credit card charges. Also she wasn’t even impressed with the product. Not sure if she had the hair loss issue. I need to ask her! Later we figured out it’s a MLM company and said never again! Learned our lesson! Glad you didn’t have any serious issues and now know what they are about 👍

I had the same issue. You can't get them to stop no matter what. In the end my credit card reversed the charges and then they mysteriously stopped.

Omg! Thank you for this video. I started selling the product over a yr ago. Everything you said... I was told the same thing about detox" and long story short, today my hair has been thinning so bad. I using the products properly. And like you said in the shower... I lost gobs my hair. In fact every time I brush my hair. I have to clean my brush constantly. It's annoying 😒 So please... if you get this message. Tell me what you use? Please 💜 I'm going to stop Monat, cus like you I have sooo much products now. I use MONAT, and use it as directed and it works superb for me. Everyone is different. That’s why samples are helpful. Sample it before purchasing the full-sized products.

I am glad I saw all of this.. and looked to youtube instead of just google. I am 29 with thinning hair and a hair line thats been receding for years its not the worst but its not good. Really trying to save it giving it a year or so before I shave it. I really like my hair and the stress makes it worse but it is what it is. I was going to buy the oil. I am really looking for suggestions into things people have done just to maintain hair and things that create a truly healthy enviroment. I have a pretty good list but I also find it difficult to find reliable countries. I have good coconut oil and cold pressed Jamaican black castor oil i use sometimes. Ive heard rosemary and Tea tree. I just found out about Abyssinian oil. Other things as well but yeah.

I love the product!!

I am here because someone is trying to sell me this specifically for hair breakage. I am glad I found this.

What? There’s been clinical studies on the effectiveness of the products. Girls who don’t know the products work, shouldn’t sell it but we try to recruit people to change their life hair and skim

Everything you said in this video is 100% truth! As a licensed cosmetologist, I get so irritated with the claims they make. Umm excuse me, but loss of hair is not considered "detoxing." I know several people that sell and they label themselves as "hair consultants" which burns me up, because they have ZERO education, when it comes to hair! I could go on and on about them. And, it is an MLM, no doubt about it. BTW, how are Jasmine and Tommy?

My friend sells it and she keeps guilting me to buy it because it’s all natural. I finally found a shampoo and conditioner that I love that is all natural as well and I’m not about to give it up. My hair has been thriving from it! (Luseta is the brand if you were wondering.)But she says Monat is better and acts like it will change my life if I use it. I will never try any of their products. Monat isn’t actually very natural. A few of their products are but the rest are filled with fragrance and other not natural ingredients. There are some great legitimate natural products out there, glad you found one you like 🙂

The only “shedding” that has ever worked for me are those foot cream wraps. I shed all my dead skin, it was gross, but my foot felt and looked so good afterwards. 😁

WOW! So interesting 🤔. I just literally started using it. I've used twice, and everything you experienced I did too. The first timed I washed my hair I shed so much I was a bit scared. My rep said your getting rid of old scum of shampoos and products you have used in the past. I was oh ok. I used it again and I don't like how my hair feels its so tangled and feels rough

I hated that product did nothing for me!

I just started to use Monat and heard the rumors about hair loss. The woman who asked me to try it out was very thorough on what to use and what not to use for my type of hair and to use only dime size amounts and the results have been absolutely amazing. My hair is more manageable, fuller, and my frizz is gone. I even started to use it on my Daughter. I will watch carefully though just to be safe, but I haven't had a single issue or anyone else I know that uses it either.

I REALLY wanted Monat to work for me! After seeing ppl I personally know with beautiful hair I had to try it for myself despite reading the mixed reviews. At first I loved it. I did notice a lot of hair during washing but that wasn't really out of the normal for me bc I was doing the curly girl method I didn't brush my hair. I lost my curls.. I thought it was my water, me, anything but the absolute expensive hair products I purchased! And for the same amount of time I've been using the products I've been suffering from swollen lymph nodes and EXTREMELY itchy ears. My ENT said it's otitis externa. I just recently put two and two together. Especially since this past month I had a terrible itchy rash on the back of my head. I think I'm allergic to something in the product on top of the front of my hair being super thin now 😭. I just wish I would have trusted myself sooner.

Probably the Benzyl Alcohol in it. Research that ingredient. People with sensitive scalps or skin can be irritated by this ingredient causing itchiness and rashes

My goodness girl, this even made me tear up! I also suffered big-time hair loss and hair thinning with using Monat products. I too was a bit blinded and stubborn at first and thought to myself: " It's not the products Mili! It's just detoxifying your hair and it'll grow back stronger and thicker." Well, I used to the for about five months and sadly, my curls lost its pattern, they dried out and lost its bounce. Every time I would shower, chunks and chunks of my hair would fall out, when here I am thinking its normal cause its removing excess dead hair. Nope. Initially, the products helped mend the breakage on the tips of my hair, but with using it for about a month, thats when I started realizing this wasn't normal anymore. My first wash day after I stopped using their products, my hair was instantly refreshed. I felt like my curls were finally able to breathe again. I too am not saying: " Never use the products!". I just know in my case, I could never allow it on my head again. I already suffered big-time with devacurl damage; I'm not going through this again. I now use a water based shampoo + conditioner (innersense) along with a water based mousse for my curls (surface brand). Could not recommend them enough. Love love loved this video Bre. Yep same here, I wanted to support a friend. From my understanding ur hair supposed to fall but dam I am very upset with myself, I feel it does not work for everyone

I appreciate your opinion, it’s always great to share your experience. I work for Monat, and I absolutely love the products and my hair has never been so healthy and strong. I did shed hair in the beginning, but it stopped. I feel awful that You had that experience with Monat, it could have been an ingredient that just didn’t work for you, or you just have a bad reaction to it. But I hear and see beautiful results with Monat, more than the bad experiences. Not everything works the same for everyone and that goes with everything not just Monat. Thank you for sharing, you’re the sweetest. 😘
