I Tried Japanese Hair Care Products for a Week and WOW!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I exclusively used Japanese hair care products for one week, and in this video, you'll see what happened!
My interest in Japanese hair care started a few years ago when I discovered a Japanese grocery store near my house called Maruichi. They sell lots of hair care products, and after trying a few, I found they worked incredibly well for my hair. Fast forward two years, and I fell in love with two Japanese hair masks that have recently gone viral on social media: the Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask and the Tsubaki Premium Repair Hair Mask. These experiences inspired me to try out more Japanese hair care products 🧼🧴💦✨
Plz let me know in the comments below if there are any other Japanese hair care products you think I should try!

Sulfate are not bad per se, they are just strong cleaners. so they are recommended for oily hair, but might be too aggressive (or too much cleaning) for dry hair

The &honey hair oil is for use AFTER the conditioner. The numbers on the products are the order they are to be used. (1.0 Shampoo, 2.0 Conditioner, 3.0 Treatment Oil). You are throwing money down the drain (literally) using the oil before washing your hair. These products are so expensive, so I would suggest using them correctly so you don’t waste your money. This goes the same for Kaminomoto. It is for hair growth and you’re supposed to put it on your scalp overnight. Please research proper use before sharing.

I can attest that the Tsubaki products are heaven sent... Like where have you been all my life!!!! I use the Premium Repair line (shampoo, conditioner, mask with the spray conditioner) and it beats any American brand haircare, no matter the cost...nothing else comes close to its magic.

The shampoo would be considered sulfate-free by Western standards because it is free of SLS/SLE which are stronger surfactants. I have an oily scalp so shampoos with SLS are the only ones that effectively cleanse my hair. I do a cocktail of clarifying shampoo with SLS 1st & then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo for the 2nd wash, then hair mask (I use FINO). I've been putting the clarifying shampoo in a color application bottle to focus on my scalp so my ends won't get dry. Even though this shampoo doesn't meet my criteria for giving me the best clean, I will try it out to replace my current moisturizing shampoo which contains coconut oil in the 1st few ingredients (makes my scalp oilier, which makes me have to wash more frequently). I love the ingredients for the honey shampoo they are non-comedogenic & acnegenic (unlike coconut oil) which is what I have been looking for as of late. So I will buy from your link bc I can tell I will like this shampoo!

I stumble on your video and clicked cuz I’m really trying to do some serious repair to my damaged hair. I don’t have any of these products but was super inspired to try using what I do have at home. I have very oily roots and very dry ends. I usually wash my hair every two to three days using a dry shampoo in between. Today was wash do so before I washed I brushed my hair to get rid of extra hairs. Then I mixed together in my palm vitamin e oil, caster oil and jajoba and ran it through my hair. I massaged it into my roots because all those are great skin care oils and I wanted to treat my scalp to a massage. Then I made sure to pay close attention to my ends and got every hair covered. I left the oil mixture on for 15 min while I did some things around the house then washed it out. I used my Giovanni biotin & collagen strengthening shampoo. Already my hair felt different than it usually does. It was more smooth and felt very clean. Then I finished with the Giovanni nutrafix hair reconstructor deep conditioner. I left that on for 10 min as recommended and then rinsed with lukewarm water. My hair felt so soft and silky!!! I’ve been using this shampoo/ conditioner for a month and my hair hasn’t felt this good. I let my hair towel dry for 10 min then lightly brushed it. At this point I usually have a ton of knots. My hair is very fine but I have a lot of it so it gets tangled. But this time the brush went right through. I finished with a little jojoba oil on my ends then blew dry May hair. When I tell you how soft and shiny my hair is!!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration. I don’t have the budget for a ton of products but it was nice to have some tips I could run with!!!

You can try using Indian pre wash oils. I know you tried amla oil but it isn't the best. Try oils that have many herbal extracts in it like twenty+ herbs. Japanese pre wash products like that hair growth tonic must be great but Indian pre wash oils are great and cheap. (Other Indian hair care products are no good though). Also there is tamanu oil that is good for scalp. Tamanu is a nut and its oil is healing for skin.

Do you have a keratin treatment in your hair currently? Your hair is extremely shiny and straight which is not how it was years ago, i remember you even made a video where you tried the curly girl method and you had naturally wavy hair. Is it just the products you use over-time straighteneing your hair out? I just can't believe how your hair is so shiny and straight now, which is a very good thing in terms of it being so shiny and silky, when it wasn't years ago.

  • @AudreyVictoria

I do not have a keratin treatment but yes I have noticed the same thing with my hair. I think it’s mostly that I’m consistently using products that smooth out my hair. Back when I filmed that video, I was not using anything on my hair aside from shampoo and conditioner…and I don’t even think the shampoo and conditioner that I was using was that smoothing to my hair. It could also be that pregnancy changed my hair. Since filming that video, I’ve given birth to 2 babies. However I think ultimately it’s the products

@@AudreyVictoria Ahhhh i never even thought about the pregnancies. Thank you for explaining that. I'm currently going through a hair health journey myself and i'm just finding it difficult to stay consistent with using products and having a routine because my days are so full on. From what you said, i do think it's the consistent use of smoothening and softening products that transformed your hair for the better so hopefully this motivates me cause honeyyyyy your hair is like a sheet of silk it is so beautiful

Let us know how to respect the Almighty Who sits on the throne of Heaven. Him Who is superior over everything. Using the name of God in vain mindlessly is disrespectful. Especially when you combine it with a bad word. It is holy. You can ask yourself this question, "Why do I take the name of the most Powerful God in vain to express an emotion?" The third of The Ten Commandments states, "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain" (Exodus 20:7). Using "Gosh" "Jeez" "Gee" is also taking the Lord's name in vain because it is an alternative word to not sound offensive. But it is still wrong as it comes from a Holy Name. "God" and "Jesus"
