In order for this hairstyle to come out POPPING you have to work in smaller sections and use more gel. It’s kind of like slapping the gel on there like you did when you were relaxed lol. But more gel, and smaller sections and you’ll be set.

I think you should use a detangling brush to make your hair smooth and get more defenition. Or fingercoils! I love the results. I think you should follow a jasmine brown hair tutorial or hazel goddesss!

I hate wash and goes because after it dries my hair shrinks and my hair feels super dry. Then it needs to be washed the next day.

When I do a wash and go on my hair I blow dry it on cool not stretching it or nothing I do it to my roots too I can't let me hair air dry on a wash and go idk why it works for everyone else its going to shrink and be a big ole knot but doing this gives my hair volume and stuff and I just pick it out this works best for me. I know this comment 1 month old but oh well

You should use leave in conditioner or Shea butter, if your hair dries up then spray some water in it and add product to it and comb it out. Don’t wash your hair too much, wash it every 2 weeks because you have natural oils in your scalp that helps your hair grow.

Wash and goes were a trial and error for me for yearsss but I finally got it down. I just make sure my hair is thoroughly washed and deep conditioned with a moisturizing conditioner. My hair also responds nicely to thicker creams, so I apply Camille Rose almond twisting butter on SOAKING wet hair (not too much) then I follow up with a generous amount of the green eco styling gel. I typically start on my hair during the midday (5pm-6pm) to give my hair some time to air dry then at night when I’m ready for bed, I band my hair with a silky scrunchy that I purchased from Etsy. My profile picture is a 3 day old wash and go 💗 when I do this method, my wash and goes can last up to 8 days. I know it’s a lot, but I hope this helped!

I recommend a silicone brush the bristles are silicone so they don't break in your hair and they dont rip out your hair because the bristles move with your hair I love the one I have I got it at Walmart by Goody

Get you a paddle brush or the oval cushion brush if you don’t have a denman brush, those are great alternatives! It’ll get you amazing definition.

Mine shrinks & puffs up like crazy, what works for me is applying hair products to damp hair. Not soaking wet!

I would say,watch more tutorials with hair that's the same texture and porosity as your hair. Like, you want get the same result if your hair isn't similar. I use to do the same thing,and it was so frustrating.❤️
