My dude with the new haircut looking sharp my dude! I just seen your email, sorry I missed it I have 27,089 emails and my wife is teaching me how to erase spam and such. Thank you so much for your kind words and support my friend. I will email you back soon, I hurt my knee training for our match. I am feeling much better now and I have been icing the knee. Great job on the video and thank you for posting it. Happy a good day my friend.

I have the wooden spoon and it's only partially meant as a sweet spot trainer. The saber is much better in that aspect. What it does help do, and especially as a warmup, is smooth out your swing path. If you go between Trey's groundstroke and Darby's you'll see just how much more linear Darby's path is. While not necessarily always better, it is far more consistent and reliable even under stress. Trey also has a tendency to switch his weight perpendicular to the ball when hitting which also makes using the spoon way harder. Another key element of consistency is stepping into and through the ball whenever you hit. Stepping sideways or falling back as you hit adjusts your contact point pretty harshly and the micro adjustments needed to correct it are unstable at best. I would recommend you give it another try with that goal in mind instead of judging it solely off of sweet spot correction

They are so expensive because Amazon takes such a big cut on 3rd party sales, that you have to price it high enough to make at least some minimal profit on the sale.

Hey man, that's so neat using a kitchen spoon on a tennis court. Serious lateral thinking. I guess I'm wrong but doesn't that wand belong in kitchen utensils cupboard for mixing mega family salads. Are you sure you searched the right department at Amazon? Can you try a handheld eggbeater for better rotation, and a potato peeler for better slice?

The drop feeder is awesome to work on form. Helped my backhand a ton while working out technical kinks in it. Better than an actual ball machine for that (and much worse for everything else- but it’s $100). Key is to have a ball hopper right beside to get around the 10 ball max.

when it comes to the power swing tool, the idea is simple in that if u get used to using something heavy everything else is lighter and can honestly be accomplished with anything else, i own an old titanium prince racket and that does the same thing

Yeah that ball "dropper" is hilarious. I saw another device on Amazon that does about the same thing, but it's a tall contraption that drops the balls using a Japanese water style mechanism. Zero power, just gravity and physics, for about $100. I never tried it (got a slinger instead) but it looked like it could be useful at that price point. Would love to see a follow up of this with more devices - like the topspin pro (it's basically the original version of that ball on a stick device, but better made, with big shield guards to keep your racket from banging the pole). Another great vid, either way. It's refreshing to see someone do reviews and be honest about these trash gimmick devices. If you're ever in the Dallas area, HMU for a game! Also, you can do the exercise with the socks full of weights with your racket easily - just slide down the grip till your two little fingers are hanging off, then do a relaxed figure 8 through the serve motion a dozen times, letting the racket swing like a weight. After a few, move to a full grip and continue - I've been doing that as my serve warmup for years.

    1) nice haircut. 2) why do I get the feeling that the inventor of the Wooden Tennis Spoon went to Catholic School? 3) “You really can’t talk on the foot faults.” Why Darby is more than just a cool name and a pretty face. 😂

If anyone is curious about the Luqi grips, they are awful. I use the Tourna grips in the summer, but don't care for the odd dusty purple blue color. I was hoping the Luqi grips in black would be a good upgrade. First off, they're much thicker than the Tourna grips. when you get super sweaty hands, they seem to hold too much moisture, making the racquet feel heavier and throwing off the balance. Also, they're not even that grippy, they have a suede texture, but they don't become more grippy when wet like the Tourna does.

I would add one thing don’t buy that feed off eBay, I got ripped off by a seller who used a fake tracking number and it literally took me 3 months to get my 94.00 dollars back from the bank, because eBay said it was delivered which it wasn’t delivered to me at all. This wild you are demo the same type I was supposed to get. Be careful ordering off eBay!
