As an Indian, when she was trying out the staple food of India, and said its unhealthy, I was like, "Gurrrl, thats not how it is" Mostly, the restaurants make even healthy food unhealthy. The food we make at home is healthy, and whats made at restaurants is an unhealthy version of it. Also, here, we add a whole lot more chilli and other spices than any other country. If you were to compare, it would be approximately more than triple, so yeah. Its spicy.

There are so many kinds of biriyani itself in India. Me being from Bengal, our biriyani doesn't have any added curry. Well sice it's Biriyani we are talking about... Biriyani isn't originally an Indian cuisine... It first came into being when the country was being ruled by the Mughals.. And therefore the cooking style is a lot like theirs' and we have Indianized it....

Try the Arab cuisine. You should try out: Falafel Kibbeh Tabouleh Kunafeh Kebab Mandi Baklava shawarma Edit: I’m gonna say this now, Syrian food is the best of the best 😂 but other Arab cuisines I love are Egyptian (because I lived there so I’ve tasted a lot of their dishes), Iraqi, Moroccan. Also, I’ve added more foods to the list because everyone is listing more bombbb foods 😋

As a Mexican I kinda understand where the confusion came from. Some of that food is kinda common in Mexican-american fast food restaurants, like the fries with cheese, but in general aren’t typical cultural Mexican dishes. From what I know it’s sometimes eaten in the northern parts of Mexico but either way it’s not very common cultural or typical. I don’t know if I made this comprehensible I don’t quite know how to explain it.

I grew up in Hong Kong and Dim Sum are my favourite Chinese food, and it makes me so happy that you enjoyed the prawn dumplings. When everything opens back up and is safe to dine out, you should definitely try Dim Sum at a restaurant that hand-make them. The Dim Sum you get from Chinese take-outs are usually frozen pre-made ones, they are not terrible but the fresh ones you get from restaurants will be 10x better.

Just fyi, a lot of the Chinese restaurants in western countries (such as in America or your case, the UK) serve a lot of dishes that have been catered to the local's palate! What I usually find is that authentic Chinese food uses a variety of fragrant spices compared to Westernized versions which heavily rely on salt and sugar for taste. Also, there are even completely new dishes that were created in these western countries! For example, orange chicken actually originated from Panda express which is an American Chinese restaurant! That's not to say one is better than the other (like, I really love orange chicken!), but I just wanted to tell u there is quite a big difference between authentic Chinese food and Western Chinese food :) love the vid btw

Yeah same with Korean for example but some restaurants are actually authentic! At least in Germany we have a lot of authentic Italian, Arabic/middle eastern, Viet and Thai restaurants but Chinese or Korean not so much because even native people from those countries that run a restaurant adapt their foods to the western taste.

actually the Italian sweet is called "Cannolo" and it is typical sweet from sicily. The reason why you might not liked it is because it is filled with ricotta cheese ;)

Now this may be only my ears that pick this up but you just gotta love her for this. (love you lots too Taz ❤️). 1:54 " I know what I like, so I eat what I know".......Taz goes American (listen she does 😊) 3:55 " I felt betta"...... Thats defo a south london accent you get me.......(I know you know) 5:18 "Stop it..... Stop it......" Now Taz has gone all Essex girl (Shut up......) Well Taz and anyone else, if you read this and agree with me, DONT like or comment, unless your Taz and Taz you can DM me as I could listen to your voice all day long. You ever thought about lending your voice to an app called "Calm". They record your voice and you say things to help people go to sleep. It has a few celebrities voices on there. I would defo sign up if you're on there.......... Be safe and well Taz........❤️❤️❤️
