Had my uppers done in 2013 and lowers a few years later. BEST thing I ever did and so glad I waited so long to have this done. The technology had changed so much that is was finally time. The team of professionals I went with did a fantastic job, it’s not cheap but both the oral surgeon and my appliance staff have the best customer service. Don’t be fooled you’ll have to go see them for cleaning just like before you had them. Research different providers till you are comfortable. I love my all on four, it did change my life.

I don’t like litigation but this dentist needs to be made to make amends for his neglect. I notice the patient didn’t shame the dentist, too open to defamation proceedings. Funny old world isn’t it?

Absolutely . I would have sued the dentist. You REALLY have to do your research when finding the right implant dentist. So many crooks out there. There are also many talented dentists who have the same schooling and experience as American dentists but they’re in Mexico, just across the border there are some amazing dental clinics that offer great dental work for ALOT less. Implants for only a few thousand dollars. Many ppl have had their implants done there and are very happy. I’m in NJ so it’s very hard for me to get to Mexico. But if i could find a way, if I could take off work. I would absolutely go. I’ve wanted to have my implants done in Mexico for a long time now. Hopefully one day. My entire upper teeth are severely infected. I need to have all all pulled and get implants put in. Right now my infections are dormant but if I start to abscess, and the infection seeps into my bloodstream I was told I could die. It could infect my brain or heart or both . My upper teeth are too close to my sinuses and sinuses are extremely close to the brain. So yes I am running out of time here. I’m scared. But holding on to faith. ❤

I had multiple horrible dental experiences growing up but I finally found a great dentist and my life has turned around. Feels good to be able to smile without being embarrassed.

After paying $20,000 dollars for my wife's oral surgery and implants, they loosened up and came out after about 5 years. When we talked to the oral surgeon/dentist, he said that it sometimes happens. He had the nerve to say he would redo them for half price. Needless to say we left. My wife now has a regular set of dentures.

Not all , but most dentist are rip off artists. I also spent about $20k for implants back in 2020. Place I was going to closed right in the middle of my treatment process. Closed with no notice at all. I’ve been living a nightmare since. I wish your wife well, I understand your frustration.

What a Beautiful Smile! I to have endured years of break offs at the gum line. It's a nightmare! Mine went bad from 27 orthopedic surgeries, the anesthesia, the medication etc for many years. Now I'm older done with surgery's but left with no teeth and an empty personality! I'm on Social security now and can't afford to get financed. Your one of the lucky ones! Take care of your smile! They are so beautiful!

Seriously happy for you. When very young I was scalded, since then my health hasn’t been good, shows in my teeth health. I’m 75yrs. Old. I dream about my mouth out of pain and not a-shame to smile. To enjoy food would be amazing. Wish you the best and enjoy life.

Congrats and thank you for sharing your story. All my life I have had dental issues from a disease I have limited control over. I was born with weak and sensitive teeth. I have learned over the decades that dentists are human, therefore many are average with a few that are truly talented. It took me decades to find the help I needed for a healthy pain free smile. It’s been three and a half weeks since my surgery. I went to Nuvia in Nashville. I’m still in the healing phase but am really glad I took the chance. The hardest part for me is recognizing myself in the mirror. After 48 years of seeing myself in a certain way, it has taken time to get used to the new smile, but I’m really starting to like it. Dr Goodman was super nice and helpful. I just hope I heal properly and get through the next few months. So happy for you getting your teeth fixed. So important.

Paul I could feel your pain 100% started my journey in 2019 with dentures that were ill fitting. My lower dentures never fit so I started just wearing my tops and I got new dentures made but unfortunately my bone loss was to much the bottoms wouldn’t stay even though they were a much better fit! It’s now 2022 and I still don’t have bottoms because of my bone loss I’m already at $20000 and because i cant use my top and bottom teeth I’ve gotten severely choked a few times and my weight has decreased

This made me cry. Glad to see him so happy!

I can't even begin to tell you about my horrific dental life. Failed implants done in Taiwan (where I was living) gaslighting...he pulled my wisdom tooth resulting in Trigeminal Neuralgia (gaslighting) TMJ on both sides...finally I went to a dentist (after so many others) who was able to get my bite right...still 10 years later need to take pain killers for the TGN. Also sprouted tinnitus and burning pain in my ear. My one implant was so infected it finally was pulled out in Cambodia (lucky the only dentist in the area who knew about this had done all his learning in Thailand which is a very good place to have your teeth done). Still not done...bad root canals the whole 9 yards, but I don't have TMJ which is fantastic. now in Poland right. Go to get a mouth guard for night - has taken her 4 attempts and it is useless. Not much luck hey. Am originally from Canada.

I broke my jaw when I was 9 years old. My dad had his teeth pulled when he was in navy because he had such bad acne. My grandpa had them also. My twin brother had them also ! I want to break the hereditary in the blood line. I lost my brother 13 yrs ago I know he’ll always be with me someway or another. He’ll be glad I have new teeth. I took a few bumpy roads in my life I think I have paid for it. Losing your best friend isn’t easy. He blessed my wife and told me she made me a better man ! Happy for this guy..I know your pain bro..Had all but 6 teeth removed a year ago got dentures and partial..Partial has ruined my 6 teeth i have on bottom..Top Denture doesnt fit anymore.Spent 10k and now i just eat soft food with 6 teeth i got. I do believe my dentist was more interested in his Financial gain than my needs...So happy you found your smile.

What a beautiful smile! He seems like a genuinely happy gentleman now after the procedure. What i would give to have a beautiful radiant smile like that to feel normal for once in life and not always feel like a pariah because my teeth my smile are the reason I've never been happy in life and always contemplating the worst self harm because i feel my life will never change, i just want to be happy with myself

I haven't smiled or enjoyed a very good meal in about 15 years. Daily toothaches and constant lip/tongue biting for the last 20. I am so glad for him but I am not gonna lie when I say I envy him.

Yeah, mine are messed up, too. The only put posts in the top. They put 4 but was afraid one wasn’t going to hold, so they put a 5th one in. Of course, it didn’t work, so he had to take out the 4th one. Turns out they punctured my left sinus cavity, so everything smells like rotten meat or dead tissue. They were going to punch the holes in the upper denture. They took more x-rays and the 5th post was gone! I didn’t swallow it and I didn’t blow it out of my nose, so I don’t know what happened to it. I’ve heard that they out metal magnets in the upper denture holes so that they stay fastened better. That’s not what they are doing. They put holes in the denture (3) and they messed up the upper left hole. So now I have to go back and have them refit that mistake. Then will cut out the roof of the mouth on the dentures, but I can’t see how it’s going to work. I’ve been without teeth for about a year now. I work in hospitality where your smile is you bread and butter. I’m still wearing Covid masks. I don’t see any hope of this getting fixed. Ever.

the thing that I did was get a recommendation from someone I knew, not something likely to happen very often, I was just lucky. the bad was that I had already been diagnosed with early onset dementia , doctors don't want to put those people under , so I had to have mine under local only, it had to be done so I went ahead, it's been about 3 yrs now and glad I did, they still fit great. ironically I was born with bad teeth and had braces and they were so crooked they left them on too long and when they finally took them off I had all kinds of cavities , so I put with that for decades. so the last few years with anchored false teeth have been the only time that I have been trouble free and smile with confidence!😁

I feel like this is what my mom is going through. She had a military dentist tell her that in 15 years she would lose her teeth and they recommend she pull her teeth out since she was retiring and I said hell no! She had perfect straight teeth no cavities and not a single lose tooth and they convinced her to pull them in the end. They did a half ass job with oversized dentures. Sent her to another dentist for the implants and then to her dentures and drilled holes in them to slide over the implants and finally was made another pair and they didn't fit with one side keeps popping out. The dentist realized the implants were uneven and did another surgery to fix it to have the same exact results. She has been crying and broken for the last two years and I hate to see her in pain. I wish she could see a dentist that actually cares

Congrats they are beautiful , I don’t see this dentist but I too had one implant fail, I needed 3 surgeries , a week in the hospital due to infection and am again on my journey to finally get my lower teeth finally, luckily I’ve no lasting damage except a bad scar and some nerve damage but with time it’s healing. And yes they are extremely expensive . I was blessed by my boyfriend who helped this dream bcus before , I could barely pay rent much less get implants . I started losing teeth at a young age, not for lack of taking care I’ve been told genetics but who knows .

I feel you, Bro. I also had a bad experience with my 2 previous dentist. But, in a different dental procedures. My first experience was 2 of my tooth had a decay and my first dentist advice me to have it extracted and put a fixed bridge. I didn't accept her recommendation due to I was going back and forth to her office previously due to a bad smell on my lower left molar. All she did was "curate" or bleeding the gums but there was no improvement for more than a year. After that my wisdom tooth got extracted. Furthermore, the bad smell continues and lasted for another year. I confronted my dentist why she didn't inform me about the decay during my panoramic x-ray with regards to my wisdom tooth extraction. She replied, "it was a different area." I may not be a dentist but I know how to analyze things. Her reply was unacceptable and pisses me off! It was her obligation as a physician to inform the patient of the overall condition of his/her teeth considering there was already a panoramic x-ray. But, she just waited for the situation to get even worse 😡😷 Out of my dissatisfaction, I looked for another dentist. My Mom recommended me to another dentist to have a second opinion. I was hopeful that time because the dentist told me that she can save my tooth for not being extracted. She recommended root canal treatment. The approach of my new dentist was not vocal about the assessment of my periapical x-ray before doing the procedure. I thought, it is just normal to her. So, I didn't mind asking her. This is due to my Mother's recommendation. She just performed the treatment for my 1 tooth. I even asked her, "if it is ok to do so because based on my x-ray there was also a slight decay on the other tooth?" She replied, "let us performed it for 1 tooth on that time." After the procedure, I felt relieved. But, that only lasted more than a year. I went back to her clinic again because I felt throbbing pain on my other tooth. This was the same tooth that has a decay based on my previous x--ray. She recommended to have a root canal treatment again. After the procedure, the throbbing pain still remains and lasted for more than 2 months. Due to this discomfort I consulted another dentist. Just to find out on the assessment that my previous dentist didn't remove the decay on my first root canal and also has a leakage. This means it was not sealed completely that makes the decay even worse. Also, for my second root canal (premolar) the stem that was placed was not level compare to the other canals. Now, the dentist recommends for an extraction of my two tooth and have a flexible bridge 😔 For me, if this was only diagnose earlier and performed correctly I will not have my 2 tooth extracted...

I had a very bad experience in the Navy with a dentist and ever since i have terrible anxiety because of it now im looking at either having to do implants or several crowns and root canal procedure my problem is the needles and noise I wish I could just be put to sleep and have it done.

My GF had all her teeth removed and the alivio and bone grafting done or so they say. We had to go back and have 3 more teeth removed that were supposedly removed. Then they had to do the alivio again cuz of a ridge. The dentures have never fit right since day one. Were are out $8,000 on this so far. They are pushing implants, but since their dentures keep cracking. Every time they crack they charge us $700. We think its best to have someone else do it since their stuff never last more than a few months . They have no insurance, but I have about a 775 credit score. She is 40 years old. Wonder if you all are more affordable than affordable dentures.
